We've actually all been spoiled by Betcoin because normally affiliate payments for most sites are paid a week to a month later.  Betcoin usually supplies it in 1 to 3 days.  However due to the exponential growth of the site it may take longer now.

This doesn't make any sense.  Betcoin processes affiliate payments the next day.  When your players play poker, casino, sportsbook, or dice, the next day (when all of the status points and betcoin points are updated) that is reflected in your affiliate balance.  You can then withdraw that into your account and transfer it, withdraw it, whatever.  You claimed that you were a normal affiliate and didn't have a special relationship with Betcoin.  Yet, now you're saying that you don't get paid the same way as every other Betcoin affiliate?  I'm very confused.

Yes, I have been told this by other affiliates as well. This is very strange. Also, I PM'd xiao from my original account I communicated with him on the forum asking for screenshots of my and my signup's earnings. I sent two separate messages and both were ignored, its been 5 and 3 days since they were sent.

We've actually all been spoiled by Betcoin because normally affiliate payments for most sites are paid a week to a month later.

All of the major online poker sites realized how retarded it was to give affiliates 30%+ of their signups revenue (rake) for life in 2008.

The only one being spoiled is Xiao and his sports/casino commission.  I asked him him about that once, he got pretty defensive:

I don't have to tell you what % I get or my address, or my passport #.  See where I'm going with this?

Betcoin processes affiliate payments the next day.
I doubt that's currently the case.
Betcoin has troubles to track and pay its own cashback. Since a few weeks, it takes 3-4 days to get our Betcoin points paid, so I doubt affiliates get their numbers in 24hours like it used to be or else I'd like to know why the players have to wait when the affiliates you know do not.

However due to the exponential growth of the site it may take longer now.
That's BS that Betcoin management spreads since a few months and you know it.
As an active cash game player on the site, I know well that the action was much more better in October-December '15 than it was so far in '16. January was the worse and was pretty much dead.
Right after the whole over-rake debacle and the huge rake increase that did follow, coincidence ? I doubt it.

Anyway, back on the subject, even if the number of players are better in March (can't say, I didn't put too much action so far this month) it would be quite scary that they can't handle, at best, 10 more active players in their ring games (since I guess most of the MTTs guys are taken care by WTN).

There is with no doubt an issue with play tracking since a few weeks (any active player knows it and did remark that it takes days now to get their Betcoin points whereas it used to be 24 hours), don't understand why Betcoin/you feel the need to explain it by PR BS "due to an increase traffic".

Betcoin should fix it and if it's not automated then they should work asap on it, they managed to do it for TSR. No reason they could not do it for their own VIP scheme and the play tracking as a whole.

Quote
it may take longer now
As long as it is paid in full and in a timely fashion.
Notice that it would be appreciate that you give the exact dates of what you're paying if it's not anymore from Monday to Sunday.
We need to be able to check if what we are paid are the exact numbers or not (esp when Betcoin got some tracking issues).

That's way more complicated than that.
All "major" online poker sites, once upon a time, were newcomers that did need to get traction on their sites. So they used, mainly for some, affiliates to get it. Once they got to the top, they were not in need of them anymore. And dropped them they did.
You can't compare, established poker sites and all the struggling / newcomers ones. The former main focus is retention (meaning recs retention), the latter acquisition (which means a politic catered more towards regs because they firstly need to populate their ring games).

The market also changed quite a lot and it is more and more ring-fenced and the number 1 provider of players is gone and not likely to come back before a few years as a whole (USA).
The whole industry is right now in stand-by and the companies just want to be still alive when the legislation in key countries will become more favorable.
There's no big risk taken in the industry due to that.

Having said all of that, I'm not a believer myself in that way of building a poker site but I can see where they were coming from using affiliates to achieve the best acquisition campaign possible. There was nothing "retarded" about it.

It's still going to be weekly but just further down the week rather than the normal Tue-Wed.

Rakeback for 2/29 - 3/6 going out now.  In the event that additional data is supplied to me you may receive additional funds in the coming days for the period of 2/29 - 3/6.  Also referral commission will be separate from your normal rakeback and denoted to make life easier on all of us (also referring yourself is not allowed and I will be operating at a loss if everyone does that).  Take care folks!

Hey, you never answered why you got your "data" "supplied" to you in a different way as every other Betcoin affiliate does.  Seems like a reasonable question for people looking to sign up through you and existing customers as other affiliates are able to process RB much quicker.

I have checked my rake paid on betcoin vs. what xiao has sent me on several occasions and always found it to be 2-5% too little. I have addressed this with him on several occasions and he doesn't agree. This is a big deal considering that I also have a Gold VIP level I referred to him, whom of which I am supposed to receive 5% rake paid. This 2-5% short also does not include any fees paid to WPN for tournaments. I have thus far chose not to make a big deal out of this because I can not get a better deal anywhere else, but I feel this information should be known.

Ungod, is your alternate forum name "xxlithiumx"?  If so, we've been over this in private message and the rakeback you were receiving has always been consistent to within 1% with the data I'm supplied with.  Regarding your referral, if he's not playing, I can't pay you.  Even if he tells you he's played a lot last week, it doesn't necessarily mean he's paid a lot of rake.

I'd like a screenshot of my earnings from the period of 10/30/15-12/9/15   you can post it here if you'd like.

@Ungod I can only communicate with the original forum name we communicated with.  Like I said rakeback has always been within ~1% of accuracy of the data I'm supplied with.  Also I don't even have access to 10/30-12/9 data.  Username 'ungod' received the transfers each time, it's in the history.

You'll find a message in your inbox from that account confirming this is my identity with the same request i posted here

did you take care of this xiao? do u think just ignore and they will go away?

First of all xiao, that is not me you're resonding to above. Second of all, you said you would communicate with original forum id, this is not true. You have ignored several messages recently from the original forum id. I bring you sign ups but you refuse to show me their earnings? Or even my own earnings? What kind of service is this?? I was decent in my tone and even said this may be a Betcoin issue, but the way you are handling this suggests it is a xiao issue. I would think a little cooperation would be in order here considering I am undoubtedly your highest volume poker player. I guess you can just pay me whatever you feel like sir, but it would be nice to see some hard data.

Now he's not?

Allow me to be a bit more specific. For this past week 2/29-3/06, I received 358.8 chips from xiao. During this same week, I received 344.2193 chips from betcoin.

My VIP rakeback level is Emerald 2, which pays 36.6%. I went through my hand histories and added up all my WPN fees for the week, which came to $10.70, or approximately 30 chips at the time. Betcoin pays out based on 100% rake paid into WPN, so their payout for the week was approximately 11 chips(10.98). Xiao only receives 50% of WPN fees, so his payout on these same tournaments is approximately 5.6 chips.

You still with me? OK, I subtracted the WPN rakeback from betcoin's amount they paid for the week, this gives us 333.2193 chips. Using a simple algebraic formula from here we can determine the total rake paid into betcoin.     333.2193    =     x
                                                                                                    36.6              100
X = amount of rake paid into Betcoin. X=910.4352

OK, you still with me? Now, we finally have that elusive rake paid figure that Betcoin uses to pay out our rakeback to us (and presumably the figure they provide our affiliates with)

40% of 910.4352 = 364.174  Let's don't forget to add that 5.6 chips we're owed in WPN tournament fees, this brings the total to 369.774.

You paid 358.8, according to the numbers provided by betcoin, you should have paid 369.774. This is a difference of 2.97%.

This is the case each and every week. Either betcoin provides us with different numbers, or something is being skimmed. I really hope it's the first and not the latter.
