I want to buy CAPT.
Where from I should start?
It isn't easy what you want to do because wallet is stuck on syncing. If you want to buy only your coins, you can do it on yobit.net, but you can't withdraw them if you haven't a synced wallet. |

I think i am in the same situation now as others here - I shut my wallet off a few months ago, i can try to get it going but expect its a bit more difficult now as I don't know of any nodes to connect with so have to rely on them being "discovered" by leaving the wallet running  , is anyone here knows yobit staff maybe they could get them to share the nodes they are connected to? or if you have the wallet open you can see the node info by typing "getpeerinfo' in the console and post the info in here and then we can use that to connect our wallets. CAPT also got delisted from Cryptopia so i guess they had the same troubles with getting the CAPT wallet working  |

receive version message: version 60007, blocks=1795324, , them=94.241.194.76:26652, peer=94.241.194.76:26652
But im not sure. Problem is: trying connection 94.241.194.76:26652 lastseen=48.7hrs
Maybe yobit disabled the wallet listening function.

i runs my capt wallet almost 7 to 10 hours for almost everyday. i have downloaded about 48% start from 0 %, and still running until now everyday

I think it's too long waiting. We need anyone can solve this problem, or anyone that now how create an Electrum wallet for CAPT though I think it's impossibile because it is a POS coin. |

The problem is that nobody has the right blockchain anymore. Yobits support button is only a placeholder, im waiting for weeks now for a response.
I've had my CAPT client open for 3 weeks straight now, all have only forked chains.
IMO the only solution is a fork where we get on the right blockchain again. Therefore we need a dev to change the code.

are we sure yobit's wallet is the true updated main chain? and I was wondering who were trading capts there & how they get in/out the capts? CAPTcoin cannot be mined.

Of course not, its a POS coin. It was distributed back in 2014 during solving captchas. also this one detail makes me wonder... if you check the CoinsInfo section on yobit for CAPTcoin, it says Algo is POS but Diff.POW 0.00024414 and Diff.POS 0.00000000 anyway... I have a few questions, is there a known web based explorer to check our balance on addresses? is it possible to create tx with unsynced wallet and push it to yobit's node so that they could confirm? or another like sweeping privkey somewhere to make deposit to yobit? thanks... |

if there is a programmer who love this coin , please re develop , fix it, or do something or even take over this coin for new update, and make it life again.. i think captcoin is very fair in distribution. and a have a nice future if we can make it life again normally

There's something wrong with the yobit exchange, which is always out of sync with the wallet main chain, and several COINS are forks. |

CAPTcoin can live again imho, we need only a new dev that want do it. I can "invest" some of my CAPTs to pay dev's work. Will not be a lot, but better than nothing. Can be a begin! I tried to post in other section, but no one want, only words.... |

I have just recovered a CAPTcoin wallet.dat from 2015, yet cannot get any connections on the network with my 2 years old peers.dat... Anyone know if there is any active peers today, or the coin is completely dead? Edit: May anyone take my wallet.dat and check if there are still some balances there? I can give 10% of coins if anyone can do that Edit2: https://i.imgur.com/6lyE5sL Finally started up my wallet with a blockchain uploaded here, and found my 5k CAPT... Hope I can finally spend them... 3rd edit: Just sent a 0.00109 CAPT test transaction and it seemed not going through. The only peer I got is 75.86.123.79:26652, which is at block 1666776 (while the blockchain I downloaded is at 1773967). I wonder if there are any other nodes on the Internet which is on Yobit node? 4th edit: FINALLY SEEN THE TEST TX AT YOBIT!!! But with 0/2 confirmations 5th edit: Test tx finally confirmed! My coins are from before a potential fork at 1700000, though, so they appears on both blockchain... |
