It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Hey, we're running faster than light with 104.78 TH at cryptoskills.com Wink

EDIT: Public Call to miner with this address: RRPTwURq9MguJsRkhu4JChJxDDCbFtvrf7 . You need to check your miner settings, you're having an efficiency of 28.76%  (@168.97 GH) and submitting more invalid shares than valid ones. Your configurations need a fix! Wink

its more than likey thats why so many of us are putting up p2pool nodes on d2storms p2pool network. use a p2pool as a backup incase your main pool goes down. Benefits are no registration and overall high network hash rate. Not to mention the fact that a large miner cannot jump on the pool and kill your profits.

Will be interesting to see what happens once we switch over to POS.

I'm guessing the price will increase, it's dirt cheap right now.

8158 blocks * 80 BTCD/block = 652640 BTCD

652640 BTCD * 0.00019000 BTC/BTCD = 124 BTC

Market cap is only 124 BTC right now!

Let's hope they come back online. I mine very slowly compared to lots of people out there, so I only had about 40-50 coins. It'd be a shame to lose them. My paltry ~40GH/s wasted.  Sad

Go mine at p2pool node. You will never have the risk that you don't get paid as you have with other pools.

I know Minerpools as serious pool operators so i think they are not doing this intentionally. Maybe they're having some technical issues, have you tried to contact them?

In the meanwhile you know where to point your miners  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
