Seems pretty common to give things another name when infact they are the same, and in most cases it works, good psychologically somehow I guess. I for one never understood the difference (just in crypto) of IPO and ICO.  But once IPOs were starting to get a bad name, people switched to ICOs, or even ITOs, and everyone was like "yeah now its ok"

i never had to change the .conf file on my mac because i already had good connections
as far as the folder

1)open finder
2)click go on the top bar
3) hold down the alt key and library will appear
4)click library
5)open the application support folder
6)open the bitcoindark folder
Your wallet.dat, blk.dat are in this folder.  If you want to add the BitcoinDark.conf you would copy it to this folder

I haven't mentioned it before, but I'm also proud that it seems BTCD is the easiest coin to compile for windows :simple_smile:
To build btc or any coin on windows the first time, it's a bit of a hell
with my btcd script, you install linux, run 'make winbtcd64' and it installs all dependencies, and crosscompiles a nice shiny BitcoinDark-qt.exe for you :simple_smile:
