If I'm "the only tool here with a problem" then why are Mods deleting crackfoo's pool spam?

YOU CAN'T ANSWER THAT!   Cheesy

Sure I can... you are delusional... i see his posts plain as day over the last few pages... i think you need to relax... you are starting to give yourself some sort of mental issue... woo sah tool bag.

For reasons obvious to most of us, the mods are deleting crackfoo's pool spam.

You are still stuck in the denial phase, trying to bargain and justify that spam.

I'm sorry you are so attached to xpool spam.  Please go to the xpool thread or website and leave the BTCD, etc. threads alone.

Trollololololol keep it coming Ice... you are making my day that much better.

At minimum, at least one person agrees with me: the mod who deleted crackfoo's xpool spam.

At minimum, at least one person agrees with me: my mom who brings me juice boxes and cookies while I troll in her basement.

It's gone and it's never coming back.  Sorry for your loss.   Smiley

Loving it! Are you even looking or just pulling this out of your ass? Or are you individually reporting his posts just to be that loser? I still see several xpool updates so no, they are not being systematically deleted by the mod as you would like to portray.

To boot, it is no feat to get posts deleted anyways. You yourself fell victim to the spamming hammer when I reported you. That post was deleted in case you did not notice.

You must be lonely to want all this attention over needless posts by yourself. I pity you Ice... BTCD satoshi for your thoughts?

You are wrong again.  crackfoo's recent xpool spam has been deleted.

His post history demonstrates I am right, and you are stupid:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=209640;sa=showPosts

I've never reported a single post.  The mods are deleting xpool spam because it is against the rules.

Sorry you can't handle a simple concept like 'don't spam threads with pool ads.'

Guys, stop feeding the troll(s). Use the ignore feature. Ignoring trolls works just the same as it does with toddlers acting out, if they don't get the reactions they'll move on.

All I did was ask you to stop spamming ads for xpool.  That's not trolling.

The disproportionate response to that simple request was trolling.

I hope you've learned your lesson, and will in the future follow the forum's very reasonable rules.

The latest shift for the Xpool Multipool paid out over 67+ BTCD.

Cheers!

www.xpool.ca

Dude, enough pool spam.

You don't see slush posting their latest shift stats in Bitcoin threads, so keep xpool stuff in the xpool thread, OK?

Cleverly disguising your xpool ads as "updates" isn't fooling anyone [EDIT: except daemonfox].

@iCEBREAKER JUST STOP IT. what is wrong with you?
everyone HERE agrees with what daemonfox SAID TO YOU. we've all had enough of your spamming the thread with your "anti crackfoo" posts. you are all alone in your crusade to discriminate against our BTCD brother -ie crackfoo. His posts have always been accepted here since day 1.... as we all see him as a part of the BTCD community. He RUNS THE OFFICIAL POOL which helps to maintain BTCD price when he cashes in other coins and buys BTCD.

If I'm really alone in my "crusade to discriminate against our BTCD brother" then who is deleting crackfoo's pool spam?  You can't answer that!   Cheesy

Appeal to popularity all you like.  The fact is xpool spam is being deleted because there is a rule specifically prohibiting such posts.

IntantDEX GUI is looking good!

http://imgur.com/a/Sx24m

Lets all show support for crackfoo and move whatever mining gear we have to his pools. This enforcement of "jaywalking" rule as justification is quite curious from one that is a strong supporter of an anon currency. I thought the last thing that is wanted is some centralized enforcement of silly rules that goes against the majority's will.

I am no longer going to quote the troll or use his name... they will hence forth be referred to as The Tool Bag.

Mr. Bag... I would like to point out... none of this was a problem, including posts being deleted... until you made a pissing contest out of it. You claim to not have reported a single post, but you sure as hell contacted the mods directly about it because only the posts AFTER your little piss party are deleted, everything March 27th and back is still there.

So, like the forum users have now pointed out, you are alone in your pissing match except you manually dragged a mod into it with your incessant bitching. No one had a problem until you started one. As James pointed out, your actions are the equivalent of the school crossing guard (the student appointed one) screaming because one person isn't walking the way you want them to.

Cry off somewhere else please, not one post thus far from you Mr. Tool Bagness has shown support for BTCD.

just to say, i switched vpn provider  not too long ago and there was a noticeable improvement in staking.  also i have found that manually adding every node list that gets posted is helpful.
torrna (sprnt)BOT 1:06 AM
which vpn did you switch too?
whetherman (sprnt)BOT 1:43 AM
PIA
torrna (sprnt)BOT 3:41 AM
thanks will check it out, I need to get a new one or renew my current one soon.

mivond (sprnt)BOT 8:51 PM Hi everyone,Come try out bitcoindark's newest gaming site:bitcoindarkdice.net

mine also fails to stake regularly, i thought it was normal
adding nodes manually sounds like allot more work than I feel like doing
also, what's up with the staking "weight"?  I heard that it does not matter if you stake or not, you still get the 5%, but than another post on btcd blog said that "Stakers" get 5% from snet asset and 5% from instantdex as well. how does that work? Last but not least, is the 5% marketed ROI of holding (or staking) BTCD calculated annually or how often?
Please Ping my name, Cheers!

nodes is just cut and paste into your conf file, takes about 5 seconds. just back up b4 u do it.   this list is working well forme:

I would like to start my online currency by buying some Dark Coin.  I am a complete novice and am not sure where to start or if this is even the right place to ask this.  Please advise.  Oscar
js.galt (sprnt)BOT 12:22 AM
lol
Ozzie, how'd you go from looking for darkcoin to ending up here? you must mean BitcoinDark
ozzie 5:59 AM
OH yes you are right.  Sorry.
Bitcoin and Bitcoin Dark are the same??
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:00 AM
no?
ozzie 6:00 AM
OH cool.
So May I ask how you mine or get some coins?
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:03 AM
You mean BTCD?
ozzie 6:03 AM
Yes
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:03 AM
bitcoin dark
ozzie 6:03 AM
Yes
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:03 AM
You cant directly mine it as it has completed that
ozzie 6:03 AM
I also should be able to spend them at some point or trade them for others too I think.
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:03 AM
but there are multipools where you mine other stuff but they pay out in BTCD
ozzie 6:04 AM
OH ok
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:04 AM
yes
ozzie 6:04 AM
So then I must mine other stuff?Huh?
You mean like the games you have listed?
But just outright buy you can't do?
With fiat currency I mean.
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:06 AM
Oh you can
You trade fiat to BTC, then BTC to BTCD
ozzie 6:07 AM
Cool..  OH ... Ok.  So I need to buy BTC first.  I am in China.  Is there a way to do it online using paypal?
I would not be much... I don't have much to spend.
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:08 AM
not in paypal
ozzie 6:08 AM
OH.
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:08 AM
What is your BTCD address?
ozzie 6:08 AM
Just a second... email??
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:09 AM
do you have a wallet for BTCD?
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:09 AM
not email
ozzie 6:09 AM
Yes I think I did that the other day.  Just a second.
Public book chain?
But I think it is not for BTCD  though
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 6:11 AM
first you need to buy BTC for fait
fiat
then you go to an exchange like bittrex.com and exchange that btc to BTCD
ozzie 6:12 AM
OK
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 6:12 AM
then you withdraw your BTCD into your BTCD wallet
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:12 AM
https://bitbucket.org/longzai1988/supernetv1/downloads/supernet-2.0.0-beta.zip download this ozzie
ozzie 6:12 AM

i am online for awhile and ask me anything
ozzie 6:24 AM
Cool
Do you feel that this bitcoin dark is about the best to invest in for small time stuff.  Like couple hundred dollars?
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 6:26 AM
BTCD imo is probably the best coin atm
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:28 AM
NXT if you want lots of coins, BTCD because it is undervalued right now by a large margin, supernet for assets
ozzie 6:28 AM
The BTCD file isn't working right.  It is only pages of letters and numbers.
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 6:28 AM
Shoot me a message when you have your BTCD address, will send you 1 or 2 so you can play with it
ozzie 6:28 AM

bummern
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 6:30 AM
are you using windows?
ozzie 6:30 AM
bummer huh?
no I will go there on my other computer.
This is mac.
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 6:30 AM
ok that is why
ozzie 6:35 AM
I am on it now but it will be a little while..Sorry.
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 6:38 AM
all good
ozzie 7:08 AM
I am sorry but I have run myself out of time and must leave now.  Please allow me to visit another day with you all.
Thanks again for trying to help... I will get back with you as soon as I have gotten done as you ask.
Good night.
ozzie 7:26 AM
Wait.... Here it is.. I finally got it.    RFgSctKrRXPViQk8Hn51BnafyQvunPw7eY
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:26 AM
this is your BTCD address?
ozzie 7:28 AM
Yes it is.
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:28 AM
ok
ozzie 7:28 AM
Under the heading recieve coins it says address
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:29 AM
so, you cannot go from fiat to BTCD. you need to buy bitcoins first,do you have bitcoins?
ozzie 7:29 AM
So I copied it and pasted it here.
OOOOPs,  no
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:29 AM
ok, so you need to get bitcoins first :stuck_out_tongue:
in order to get btcd
ozzie 7:29 AM
Ok
I can buy them online through e-bay?
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:30 AM
you live in china right?
ozzie 7:30 AM
yes
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:31 AM
try btcchina.com
once you have bitcoins, you need to send them to an exchange
at an exchange you can exchange your btc into btcd
ozzie 7:32 AM
OH.. Ok.. that was the one you said earlier.
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:32 AM
yes
ozzie 7:32 AM
BitRex?
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:32 AM
a little complex but once you understand it is easy
yes bittrex
is good
you once you buy bitcoin you send the bitcoins to the bitcoin address in bittrex
then you change the bitcoins to BTCD
ozzie 7:34 AM
ok
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:35 AM
and then you send the BTCD to your BTCD wallet
and then you put a password on your wallet
ozzie 7:35 AM
I will try that tomorrow....  Again... Thanks greatly.  I really must go now.
oh ... Ok..
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:35 AM
tosch (sprnt)BOT 7:37 AM
once you have BTC I can also recommend https://www.shapeshift.io/
ShapeShift.io is an instant exchange for cryptocurrencies. Buy or sell Bitcoin, Litecoin and other coins easily without an account. API available.
they are doing a great jop in converting coins. No fees, minimum starts very low
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:38 AM
do they do BTCD?
tosch (sprnt)BOT 7:38 AM
yep
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:38 AM
oh wow they do lots of coins now
tosch (sprnt)BOT 7:39 AM
I hope they manage it good
a lot of coins mean a lot of funds to monitor and keep them at a high rate, so every coin pair can be converted anytime
but they are doing good so far
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:40 AM
good for the noobies
fsb4000 (sprnt)BOT 7:40 AM
Actually they have fee...
tosch (sprnt)BOT 7:40 AM
also for projects
fsb4000 (sprnt)BOT 7:40 AM
Instant Rate 1.00 BTC = 205.7486 BTCD
tosch (sprnt)BOT 7:41 AM "Fees
With ShapeShift, what you see is what you get. The exchange rate shown is exactly what you'll receive, minus only the "miner fee."
There is no exchange fee, or service fee."
https://www.shapeshift.io/about.html
I do not know exactly where their money comes from. If you have a service using shapeshift, I think you also get something like bonus for a lot of shapeshifts I think
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:43 AM
they probs buy low sell high
tosch (sprnt)BOT 7:43 AM
so their money would come from a tradebot
fsb4000 (sprnt)BOT 7:43 AM
their rate: 1.00 BTC = 205.7486 BTCD
bittrex rate: 1 BTC = 250 BTCD
tosch (sprnt)BOT 7:44 AM
I guess thats it, they sell higher than market rate
fsb4000 (sprnt)BOT 7:44 AM
I guess it's fee
3rdstryker (sprnt)BOT 7:44 AM
that was my impression
nippybrit (sprnt)BOT 8:07 AM
so it's the same as all those lying exchanges at airports etc
"no commission!"
and the rate is just shit so they profit on that
a practice that enrages me
crackers (sprnt)BOT 8:23 AM
yeah they're exchange rates are pretty crappy. what you see is what you get... but it ain't would you could have got elsewhere
5000bitcoins (sprnt)BOT 9:17 AM
technically they're right, what you see is what you get
crackers (sprnt)BOT 9:18 AM
yup
5000bitcoins (sprnt)BOT 9:20 AM
Seems pretty common to give things another name when infact they are the same, and in most cases it works, good psychologically somehow I guess. I for one never understood the difference (just in crypto) of IPO and ICO.  But once IPOs were starting to get a bad name, people switched to ICOs, or even ITOs, and everyone was like "yeah now its ok"
crackers (sprnt)BOT 9:21 AM
haha yeah I know eh
nippybrit (sprnt)BOT 9:26 AM
I assume that the idea behind ICO is to sound a bit more friendly and closer to kickstarting
what is ITO though?
initial troll offering?
only trolls allowed?

This is the problem that InstantDEX, SuperNET’s realtime exchange, aims to solve.
mr_e (sprnt)BOT 5:50 PM
Odd article
Spends a lot of time talking about dark markets
And then mentioned a decentralized trading exchange as the solutions?
I'm confused, what does instantdex have to do with dark market trading?
js.galt (sprnt)BOT 7:51 PM @mr_e:  as far as I see it, he is not talking about "dark markets" he is talking about centralized storage of coins being risky.
Also, one reason why dark markets benefit from btcd is the anonymity ofcourse, which the writer failed to mention.
mr_e (sprnt)BOT 8:06 PM
true. just seemed odd to dedicate 50% of the article to that, when bter or gox  would have been a better example haha.
and instantdex doesn't really aim to solve that particular problem at all
anyway
what's with btcd @ .54 on polo?Huh
and bittrex not following
guess it really didn't take much to buy it up that high haha
cassius (sprnt)BOT 8:50 AM
It was the most recent example, is all
Plus I don't want to market BTCD as a darkmarket solution
But feedback is always welcome

quick question guys. How do i connect my wallet to the network?
i downloaded it and opened it, but i'm 'out of sync' without any network connections
do i need to download the blockchain separately?
btcddev (sprnt)BOT 11:50 AM
need to add nodes to BitcoinDark.conf

nippybrit (sprnt)BOT 11:54 AM
does mac store user configs in a different place from linux?
btcddev (sprnt)BOT 11:54 AM
I don't know
nippybrit (sprnt)BOT 11:54 AM
me either
I guess they like to change stuff, so it might be different
nxtgenomics (sprnt)BOT 11:55 AM
hmm, ok, i'll figure it out
thanks guys
azeh (sprnt)BOT 11:57 AM
i never had to change the .conf file on my mac because i already had good connections
as far as the folder
let me check
gotta fire up the ole mac
alright
1)open finder
2)click go on the top bar
3) hold down the alt key and library will appear
4)click library
5)open the application support folder
6)open the bitcoindark folder
Your wallet.dat, blk.dat are in this folder.  If you want to add the BitcoinDark.conf you would copy it to this folder
azeh (sprnt)BOT 12:08 PM
Although, it might just be a matter of waiting 5 to 10 minutes before connecting.  This usually only happens the first time after you download and run. I never had issues connecting afterwards.
jahl (sprnt)BOT 4:08 PM
holy crap btcd price
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 4:15 PM
2300 buy at 480k bittrex
Lucky I bought the 400 at 3800 since I was tired of waiting
jahl (sprnt)BOT 4:17 PM
nice
shame nxt is selling so much lately
nxt needs to raise, so i can buy more unity with dividends
pondsea (sprnt)BOT 4:19 PM
Ah 4800 got pulled down to 4600
Its all good will go crazy eventually
jahl (sprnt)BOT 4:22 PM
don't follow the price closely since i'm in for the long run, but nice to see ppl finally coming to their senses
bad for multipool mining tho
btcddev (sprnt)BOT 4:24 PM
Still underpriced.

I haven't mentioned it before, but I'm also proud that it seems BTCD is the easiest coin to compile for windows
To build btc or any coin on windows the first time, it's a bit of a hell
with my btcd script, you install linux, run 'make winbtcd64' and it installs all dependencies, and crosscompiles a nice shiny BitcoinDark-qt.exe for you
jahl (sprnt)BOT 4:32 PM
the easier it is for ppl, the better
btcddev (sprnt)BOT 4:32 PM
it's so nice
Seriously, just look at the 'simplified' guide for windows

Building headless Bitcoin and Bitcoin-qt on Windows
compare this to
git clone git://github.com/jl777/btcd
cd btcd/libjl777
make winbtcd64
i haven't pushed the latest build script to james' repo so it's not working right, but i have finished it on my local machine

I still use the v1 wallet I download back in July of last year... yeah, I've been holding that long.
btcddev (sprnt)BOT 7:33 PM
so many btcd for sale
apparently people aren't done accumulating
blackyblack (sprnt)BOT 1:25 AM
lol we Windows guys do not compile wallets
we simply run exe file
or msi even better
mivond (sprnt)BOT 8:15 AM Hi @channelPlease try out my btcd dice game!bitcoindarkdice.net
Have fun
raimch89 9:50 AM
the problem is nobody knows when all bigs projects for btcd will  really been finished...
btcddev (sprnt)BOT 9:52 AM
They won't all be finished at the same time, it's an ongoing process with many parts all moving towards the same end

yes, seems always have to finish a part before finish something and it is difficult to know  for non coder like me when btcd could use Teleport/Telepathy/Ramchains/SuperNET Core...
apex944 (sprnt)BOT 10:40 AM
is the BTCD slack different than this channel ?
nippybrit (sprnt)BOT 10:41 AM
there is a separate slack, but the main channel is linked to this one anyway
I joined it and lurked a while
cassius (sprnt)BOT 10:41 AM
Telepathy and Teleport are working
Just in API mode
nippybrit (sprnt)BOT 10:42 AM
but it didn't seem worthwhile
cassius (sprnt)BOT 10:42 AM
They're not yet integrated into the GUI
apex944 (sprnt)BOT 10:47 AM
"they" .. how many of "they" are not in here ?
roughly.. as a % ?
azeh (sprnt)BOT 10:54 AM
BTCD slack is a part of community infrastructure in place for when these pieces swing into place.  Will provide a nice area for btcd platform development and the community to focus on more btcd specific stuff
This is just a general chat area and links to the #deleted-channel in BTCD slack
apex944 (sprnt)BOT 11:01 AM
thx azeh, I was wondering why I hadn't seen much on the technical front here.  Sending my request to join the BTCD slack now.. unless somebody wants to just sign me up from here

Yes, not much going on there at the moment, but eventually
yeah, just send a request.  figroll will process it
