It will be done about 2 weeks after the conclusion of the ICO.

You done need to swap your BTCD if you dont want to, but with the snap shot you will still get the asset chain.

Installed the wallet like in the BTCD wallet guide, replaced the peers.dat and encrypted wallet. After now 2 hours of waiting nothinh happened with synchronizing. Tried it several time, every time deleting the whole bunch of BTCD folders to be sure nothing from old is stored. Anyone have the same problems or ideas to solve it? Appreciate your answers!

You should try to let it run for 24h, sometimes it takes a lot of time to start synching. Also use the most recent list of peers, this is my BitcoinDark.conf file:

Normal synching with btcd takes 36-48 hours
