Can any person help with obtaining my budget to synchronize on MAC PC? Followed the actual instructions and also the wallet is simply sitting there stating out of connect and zero active cable connections to the BitcoinDark network

BTCD is a dead chain. No dev support, as it ended Dec 2017.

Yes it is true and I am still puzzled why poloniex still maintains BTCD, whereas many tokens are made from 2017 until now, poloniex should be able to see all that.

They probably see something else that we don't. I think that as long as people are willing to buy and sell BTCD even though they are no longer able to withdraw or deposit it, there is money to be made out of fees and speculation. Also, in one of my previous posts, I said that once almost all the supply is swapped (which is the case now), it will makes BTCD very scarce and this could trigger very high prices. We've already witnessed a (small) spike (BTC-wise) after the swap deadline was reached and this could happen again (or not).

If you see garbage posts (off-topic, trolling, spam, no point, etc.), use the "report to moderator" links. All reports are investigated, though you will rarely be contacted about your reports.

Is it still possible to swap my Bitcoin Dark coins to Komodo or was there a deadline for swapping my coins?

Lost for good

The deadline was in january, if you're lucky to have them on Poloniex you can still sell them to the bots

Wow, this is a very big project
I really like the workings of this project, pretty stunning and like a good idea to join, hopefully run well Cheesy Cheesy

BitcoinDark (BTCD) is a good coin that I think...Hope It will be much gainer next year...

In case you guys are somehow serious, you should know that the BTCD blockchain is no longer functional. So yeah you could buy it if you only want to speculate on its price until all exchanges decide to delist it.

Which exchange?

Cryptopia

(As far as I know,) Nobody is no longer mining blocks on the BTCD blockchain so those are gone for good.

For some reason, I misunderstood what you said, I thought you had an issue with transferring BTCD ... So what you are saying is that you are still waiting for your KMD to be credited on your address on Cryptopia?

I feel like the buyers and sellers are holding guns to each others heads, no one wants to make a move...

That was a nice bull trap to whoever executed it, by the way; classic and by the books

Coins not showing as unconfirmed over at btcd.minerpools.com.

This coin is making me fucking crazy right now.  All the pools have something weird going on.  Now on cryptoskills after I got a payment, only half the rigs connect properly.  What difficulty should I be using for 1 th/s miners and above there?  None of the ports worked right for the bigger rentals.

You can try and ask Bittrex's support about it if you haven't already, but given the fact the blockchain is no longer maintained, anything that hasn't been transfered to be swapped for KMD or that hasn't been sold on the exchange the BTCD was on, seems lost forever (you can no longer sell it there nor transfer it somewhere else to sell it).

No valid reason apparently, probably speculation on the very tiny amount that is still in circulation. BTCD can be a play ground for speculators now that almost all of it has been swapped and that it is listed on only three exchanges (according to coinmarketcap).
