According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

yea big problems seems the dev there is mia

Dev said his father had a heart attack and he's been gone a whopping 24 hours, god people in crypto are paranoid or selfish. How on earth did early traders handle Satoshi disappearing for months?

Just reread his post and I think he is speaking about the becausepo dev/op

No, it was my father.

I think one of the pool operators had a family emergency as well.

could you help us mine some more blocks on that pool : http://btcd.poolto.be ?

0% fees and perfect connection/payouts.

thanks  Grin

*edit : there's a bug with cashout on poolto but i swear that he's a nice guy; he is sleeping atm and will resolve that as soon as he woke up (i just pm'd him)

(i'm mining most of the time on his pool since 1 year now and i never had any problem with hashrate or lost coins; that's why i'm promoting his work; sorry if i sound bad Cheesy But nice and reliable guys are gold in cryptos so i'm fine helping him having some more fellow pool users. I'm even tempted to pay for an interface / server upgrade / rebranding because he deserve to earn something instead of nothing Cheesy)

CHEERS

 Cool

payout fixed !
nothing lost, no hashes lost !

It is online, but from time to time we get different DDOS attacks. That's why at that time the frontend was down, although the stratum has been working and finding blocks like crazy

true story, put all my hashes here. If anyone is mining on mountolympus swap to a faster pool asap as i only have 4th/s and have moved to a more profitable pool. after POW ends i will be taking down Mountolmypus.club and leaving only the node installed.

http://btcd.minerpools.com/  is the best BTCD pool for me even though from time to time my miners have mining in totally DARK.
Just believe minerpools and BTCD will be poured into my wallet. BTW, my miners have found 4 BTCD blocks but I have received bigger than that  Grin Grin Grin
