I am seeing some orderbook games with lots of small orders, BTCD needs no such things and it is better to just let things happen naturally. We are back to #4 in 24hr volume, it seems this sort of thing happens everytime we are making ATH. People rush back in to not miss the next jump up. If only they learn to hodl, it is much easier

My 20% premium bid for mgwBTCD is now at big discount, amazing how fast things change, so I put a decent sized bid at 109 NXT. A bit below current price, but I have a feeling for NXT moving up so as NXT moves up this 109 bid gains in value

I was realizing there's no BitcoinDark Wiki site, unless it's already being developed. That's something I could do. Is there need for a proper BTCD Wiki?

 

who will write the content?
if we can get someone to edit all my ramblings, then I think this would be a good thing, especially when tradebots come marching in with their own API

I know reasonably well some of the ramblings coming from the Nxt side But I'm still a little far from writing "I, tradebot" or about teleport, I doubt I'd be able to put something together before end of september. Surely others here are in shape to write a wiki page about Teleport?

In any case an API Wiki reference page is easy, just a mechanical job transfering reference notes / JSON information into wiki markup syntax.

hopefully someone can volunteer to edit my ramblings, or maybe just cut and paste them into categories?
at least it will all be in one place somewhat organized instead of linear thread posts

Hi JRoC,
If you use Windows, create BitcoinDark.conf as the OP and put it at the same directory of BitcoinDark-qt.exe and run.

I did that and it doesnt work

One thing I did to get some wallets to sync was to go into my router and turn off UPnP. Might want to give it a try.

Looks like got a long night ahead trading on this coin so much increase is un real loving it lets hope the growth continues as I continue to trade tonight into the early hours and ride this.

That is more that iam staking in two or free month but iam asset holder of cryptocard  hopefully in 5years the "crypto --> cash" (via btcd anoncard) business will as ussual, (and "useable" for the normal-sort of people) like the btc-industry is it at the moment ("nice, buy pizza with btc + maybe make some money"). i have missed btc ... but i hope that was a good investent @btcd!

i hope that there will grow more buy-support 0.005 to 0.007 .. iam so sorry that i didnt have more btc to invest if i would be a wahle i would put up some buy-walls for a steady grow.. instead to ride a pump&dump.. hmmpff.. maybe thats is the reason why i am not?

well the price has to decide whether to go up or down out of a flag pattern. When it is trending up, most likely to break to the upside. I guess market decided up was the right direction

So, most likely is some sort of consolidation, the key question is where? bidders seem to be camped out at .006 hoping for 15% pullback. I, too, am hoping for this, but unless it happens before the workweek crowd comes back, not so sure it will happen, at least not in big volumes.

Weekends are usually when volumes go down, prices stagnate. What is going on?

Theehehe ammo am playing around with play money at the moment play  BTCD rests in my storage building nice stakes up rest is in trading have a fair bit spread across a few exchanges however don't want to cripple the market too much now.

Don't be upset! Try this way: delete all files and directories on the below folder if your wallet.dat is still empty or except it.
C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\BitcoinDark
Check the file extension is .conf and the exact name is: BitcoinDark.conf (I noticed your config file is BitCoinDark.conf; C language  is Case sensitive!)
Rerun and hope it works!
