I don't think I am going back to regular bulbs again.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Your parents  are ok with that, or are they the ones who installed the lights so you would have trouble finding your vein when injecting heroin?

I don't know why they would care -- besides the fact blue light can lower your Melatonin levels, which can be good or bad depending on the circumstance.

I don't have any reason to ever try heroin, heh; silly kids and their brain-burning drugs.

You're going to regret that in a couple weeks when you realize you're in the mood for a green-blue room and didn't pay the few extra $ for one of those fancy remote-controlled LED lights.

I love black lights, but they have their place. Consider green (literally) lighting. Green is the color your eyes are most sensitive to. Also, go get a bright white light (e.g. industrial flourescent tube fixture from a hotel or something) and wire that up for when you want to be productive rather than creative. Light can affect your thinking just as food and drugs are able to. Circadian rhythms.

...or just go outside instead of the white light. If you have an inside job that may not work so well though.

I hope the blue blurring is only from the camera, and that your room doesn't actually look that blurry.
Also, this is appropriate:

Yeah, Atlas, I gotta tell you...actinic lights will fuck your eyes/brain up. Bad idea. Use them to grow some coral, creating value out of nothing but a small fragment of a colonial animal. It's a self-made man's dream.

So, you want not want to go into this whole chromatic perversion thing when you are out applying for gigs under "So,... 1.0". If they think you are too much of a Smurf, they may hesitate hiring you.

Sorry to bump this thread, but the similarity to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=52741 is disturbing.
