China ban USD/BTC trading .
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

why?

I'm starting to think the chinese Gov't holds BTC to stockpile - the announcing of news makes it perfect for them to scrape in a few lowball offers before price corrections through market demand.
