Haha I didn't know if you were just going to try to find hacker, pay person who found him a crore, and keep rest of money for yourself. How much would 1 crore be anyway?

Yeah.. I was on the same page as you. But WTF.. that guy lost around  $7,50,000 , I don't know what I'll be doing if i loose that much , my condolences with him . Going through the original post seems like the machine OP was using was indeed compromised.
and the hacker seems too smart s[he] already started moving btc but with 500btc bounty the best out there will get into the race to catch the hacker. I'm sure the hackers too finding him in tight corner after knowing a 500btc bounty over him.

He dealt with hacker, now hacker will return him 462 coins, it is still better for him.

Something is better then nothing.

462 BTC in two parts.. ? 1st one in a day or so and second Part after 36 days.  that part scares me , But anyways I'm sure " klee " must  has taken this decision after having some discussion with hacker.
The Hacker must have felt the fear of being tracked down. with over 3.5m$ bounty over him.

OP made it difficult for hacker to get BTC converted to fiat , and that's why hacker agreed but atleast he is getting some of his btc back.
