Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

yeah these are nice radios. they just been sitting on my shelf doing nothing for a long time need to clear some of this shit out of here

I have a few motorola radius low band mobile radios w/ mic for vehical applications too

probably let those go for like $50

I looked at the spec page, and apparently an option board is needed if you want encryption. Do these have that option board, or are they unencrypted?

yes all you have to do is use a PL tone and no one is going to be able to hear what your saying if they scan / guess what frequency you are using
