Hi all, let me set the scene, i have a system with 2 x 5870's rinning guiminer 0.6.0 running sweet, I got a asus 5970 which i want to mine on, i am using ati 12.1 drivers (without CCC) and because its the same driver set i thought it would be a streight swop, on doing so it started up ok but went to a blank screen when the desktop should have appered, I heard the "pop" sound of windows taskbar, and assumed it was loading the drivers, so i waited a bit then used the keyboard to restart, it was ok from then on. but i had guiminer on auto load (not auto start) and when i moved the mouse over the icon in taskbar it would just dissapear, i started GPU-Z and it didnt detect opencl on either card. so I removed the 58xx so i was working on the one card, used driver sweeper and spent the next two days trying drivers 10.2 - 12.3, sdk app 2.0 - 2.3 (cant use 2.4+ as i am xp 64bit) and opencl 11.2 - 11.12 and various combinations of all, NOTHING AARRGGHH. sometines GPU-z would say opencl driver bug detected please uninstall to ........something or other. i hav'nt a clue, i did some searches and no-one is having this prob??
I have checked it picked up 2gpu's in system, and other basic things like other software closing, it just wnt detect.

here is the system
win xp x64 5.2 build 3790
intel E6850 3.0ghz
P5E3 pro m/b
8GB DDR3 1600 (4x2)
nice case with loads of fans.
a 1KW psu not sure of make but its a 80+ gold rateing.
