http://youtu.be/cGTQo5IP6P0

granny lives in my country,
(Republic of) Croatia, she says and proves she's been knitting QR codes all her life Smiley

there is even a word in local slang for that symbol
"šiljur"
(in english you would pronounce it like  she - lure )

another thing :
Nikola Tesla was born in a village near where this granny lives,
they are joking that there must be something in those undergorund waters they all drink

She started knitting those symbols after she had a fata morgana , allegedly once, during a heavy storm,
she saw a deer that had QR codes all over his body, and since then, she always puts them in her work

her grand daughter (or daughter)
recently told her that Japanese and Americans stole her idea Smiley

Yeah whatever, so are they actually valid, with proper ECC and stuff?

So what, I've been branding forest animals with QR codes for ages.  That's how I save my passwords and private keys.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Well codes have been knitted and woven into fabrics for over a millennium.  Think of sailors jumpers and Scottish kilts.

Actually I was bored, so I did. But none of them scanned, and I'm not sure whether that is because my scanner app is shitty, or whether the codes are invalid.

I tend to agree with this comment there:

The ones that I were able to scan all scanned to "http://www.noa.com.hr"

This is great!

Granny Jela should create an IPO for blockchain-wear, and hand-knit some bitcoin addresses on sweaters, blankets, socks and lovely wall carpets with QR deer application on them.

This is crazy too, as it is close to the halfbaked idea I had on qr-blockchain-wear-pillows some time ago, along the lines of blockchain qr-code pillow so you can sleep on your coins, or blockchain socks so you can keep your money off the banks securely.

Bako Jelo, ljubim te u čelo! (Granny Jela, I kiss your forehead!)
