This is too awesome an article not to get its own thread.

Critics of bitcoin as a currency are quick to point out that not many merchants accept it as a payment type yet. That will change. And, they also point out that the total available market is severely limited. Oh, how wrong!  Bitcoin’s first potential mega-market just so happens to be the second largest economy in the world and its sole competitor in that sphere is depreciating government paper cash.  Game on.

Take a bow Jon Matonis.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Yep I really enjoyed it too.

My personality type: INTJ - please forgive my weaknesses (Not naturally in tune with others feelings; may be insensitive at times, tend to respond to conflict with logic and reason, tend to believe I'm always right)

Unless you mean that sarcastically you should probably use a different picture.  Citizen Kane there is clapping for his talentless girl friend.
I hope our support for bitcoin is of a different nature.  Wink

Back to the subject, that is a good article.

I was literally about to post the same article!

Awesome

Bitcoin pioneer. An apostle of Satoshi Nakamoto. A crusader for a new, better, tech-driven society. A dreamer.

Based on the Crunchbase profile, I'd say there is about a 98% chance he reads these forum threads. So . . .

Given that he posts here quite often I would say that is a good bet.   Wink
