making an effort to drop it *mostly (aside from this topic bump)

my goal is not to damage an exchange.. but to point out how i think none are perfect little angels.
even though that is exactly what they try and portray constantly.
all a guy has to do is use the search box here and you will see what i am getting at.
what you will find and the crap they say don't match..
someone is lying..
and is it every person that ever commented here or the same guy(s) who run an exchange behind closed doors, doing god knows what ?

there is patterns of behavior and it will continue unchanged i have no doubt..

While I rarely disagree with Sir Spoetnik I think it is more likely they ran out of other people's funds to spend.

~BCX~

I was just dredging up old drama to make a point.. they have a sketchy history of being inept and buggy etc.
i was not trying to say that they have been hacked NOW !
This topic is old now.
But it's valid for posterity.. this topic got me a 1 year chat ban on Cryptsy from Porn star JShock ROFL

If they were hacked there would another announcement. But i agree with you that something has happened.

Did they made a wrong payment, an employee going rogue?

There is no announcement of hacking of Cryptsy. The difficulty in withdrawing coin has lasted for more than 2 months now.

I started by telling him many times i was jealous of what he did and he should just tell me how to do it.. and he kept playing broken English dumb sort of..
And after a little while he dropped the act suddenly and started speaking rather confidently and was no longer sad about his account being locked
but was laughing his ass off hard and in a great mood and saying directly to me little comments like "what do i spend $89,7404 dollars on ?"
So i am pretty damn sure that was Mr. Points Thief based on ALL his comments combined and the rest of the info i had gotten etc..
[...]
So VOTE ? IS a confirmed and verified Exploit considered a Hack ?

A random anonymous guy in a chat box claims to have thousands of dollars, and that counts as a confirmed and used Exploit resulting in cash profit?
Want to buy a bridge?

The rollback was watched by all users on chat after they bought cheap coins..
The talked about on Twitter.. the only unconfirmed part was the guy who showed up later claiming he got a ton of BTC doing it.
And like i said before he seemed believable *enough* to take him seriously.

To this day i have no idea if he really did get coins off their servers or not.
It's plausible i think he could have moved many coins out swiftly before they caught on.
