Hello Everyone, Quick update;

Rat4 has replied, he hopes to be able to review DIONS code next week. Derek has been working on the new feature we added to DIONs. Derek should be done by friday, and all the latest code will be ready for rat'4s full review. Crz has begun his info graphic work with road map and Pat & Ophie are now awaiting on Derek for the api documentation to begin work on the html5 wallet.

Progress is being made and we are moving along. Now DIONS is not just registering aliases/ dns, it will be much more than that. As always if you have any questions feel free to touch base with Richard or Myself in slack, iocoinhub or irc..

Hello welcome to our community... From day one our entire team has been fully dedicated to the project. We are currently working on DIONS (decentralized name server). We are enabling data on the blockchain. Once Dions is done there will be no need for long hex addresses you can send to aliases/usernames example robert-io. We currently have ions but is not fully decentralized. So far we have met all our roadmap goals and Dions is the last one of our first roadmap. Soon we will be releasing our 2nd roadmap for the year and a Dions infographics. DIONS was actually expanded and we added 2 new features not mentioned on the whitepaper. 1st one is done and now we are working on the 2nd feature. Next week we hope to have our codes reviewed. We will then move on to wallet update and development for DIONS.

One more thing I/OCoin has a very special POS blockchain codename POS I/O which is POS V.2 with Volume control features. Transfers are nearly instant in our chain and we also have the first build from scratch HTML5 wallet.

Now that's how to reply to any doubters, very good post Mr Mctaino.

As we are working on a kindle book for IOC, a 'ultimate guide' if you will, can we use the quotes and statements we find here?  If there is anything you think we should not include (i cant imagine there will be), please message us here to let us know.

Our User Guide, information book is scheduled to be released in around 2-3 months, (but if you have a specific date, please let us know, maybe you would like the book released with some great announcement for IOC?) given the work load and we want to be able to include your new feature dions and other features.  

Also, the book, will be updated as and when this remarkable digital currency is updated, so readers new and old will always stay up to date. I am sure you will be delighted with the book and all of the extra attention IOC will gain from being listed in the Kindle store.

Hope you had a good holiday. Yes, nice indeed. And we have lots more to come. These are just a few highlights.
There is really a lot to put on the roadmap and we want to have it clear to everybody what DIONS is and what next things we will focus on.
So that takes a little while, but worth the wait. Like Joel said to me a few days back: "The chefs are in the kitchen cooking the best five star dish. And we leave them to cook for now"... On the sidelines all new projects are defined and looked at.

Development Update Friday April 24th 2015

Happy Friday Everyone, I have some great news for the community and followers of our project.

Today, I can confirm to our community that the new feature we are working on is a special decentralized messaging system that will ship with DIONS. It will be a  twitter like messaging system but decentralized. To kick this up a notch and because we recognize that the data would be broadcasted to the blockchain, we are making this system "Private". We have a unique way we are going to approach the privacy aspect of it and we are currently in the testing phase of it. We thought of adding this feature since we had enabled the transfer Of aliases feature for DIONS and wanted people to have a way of communicating their transaction. This is just a little taste of the endless possibilities that our blockchain will be capable of.  More info to come in our infographics.

Aside from this system we are kicking around an idea to make a service based on our data blockchain advances and we will have more info on this after we release our infographics. I've said it before and I will say it again, we are here working to improve blockchain technology. We are going to do this with our own I/O Digital blockchain, we know we are building the future.

Lastly our mobile wallet team is completing development and getting ready a New Mobile Lite wallet… stay tune

Let's now talk about a few things. Ethereum, Stellar, Ripple these are some of the projects that have catched the attention of many. Some of these projects have large dev teams with millions of coins. Some have even had crowd funding and have nothing to show for. Not to say that they are bad but to show you guys just the magnitude of our work. With a very small team and no ico we are accomplishing great, unique and innovative development. We know that the future lies in blockchain development. Our project is designed to be user friendly and most importantly inclusive to everyone. I have donated almost every Bitcoin that I have to the project because I believe in the technology that we are building. I believe that in the near future, advanced blockchain's will be at at the center stage of major shift towards decentralized technology. We are here to build in that direction and if you would like to participate in any way, please drop us a line.

A few lines for new members....

Here you will find little hype, hard work and dedication. We are here showing a strong commitment to making a change in this sometimes tuff crypto land. I'm sure at some point our I/OCoin price will rise, speculators will show up, fundsters will scare people and try to derail us from our goals. Enjoy these peaceful times because we know things will change as people see the true might of our blockchain development. Today we have the most unique POS I/O blockchain, it was build that way to support all of the projects we knew we were going to build on top of. We know that the crypto winds may not be on our backs and many view these projects as P&D. We will let our development due the talking and continue to spread the word on how serious of a project we are building. Just know that our entire team of developers are experienced, committed and focused, we are here to develop awesomeness.
