It is surprising the number of people who want to use IRC, a platform without many benefits, compared to the other options.

With Skype you can easily add voice, create a nice group of people and keep track and have a record of the conversation much easier than other platforms.

I am also surprised it has taken this long to organize this community event, it is something that should of been done sooner, but, its good that it is finally being done now.  You should make this a monthly chat, its a great way to build the community, that is desperately needed here.

Not only that, it would be really great if these mystery Developers could come online and tell everyone what they have been working on and what they have planned for the future, for me, hearing from the developers would be the most important part of such a hosted chat.

Also, on the topic of developers, i have seen on other coins, the developers are much more active and vocal when it comes to them talking about what  developments they are building, from what i see on this bitcointalk thread, you only have one dev, StPatty, who 'once in a blue moon' manages to write a couple of lines with vague details, you should take a leaf out of the Vericoin developers book and see how they reply to the community.

This leads me to a question: Why are the other developers so quiet? If they were to message here, maybe giving a overview of their talents and where they see I/OCOin in the future, it would also help in gaining support from other investors.  

People need to have trust in the people they are investing in, this in turn will give people more confidence when investing in I/OCoin.
McTaino has been verififed by the good chaps at Coinssource, lets know about the other developers, please.

With the correct management and promotion of IOC, you would see a much healthier order book.

I wish you good luck with this hosted chat, i think it could be a big turning point for IOC.

Greetings to all on this Halloween.

I am sure the new whitepaper will be frighteningly good!   There seems to have been some nice buys taking place on bittrex, this is encouraging to see.

Also, are you aware of a new trading site that is getting lots of good attention?

They have done some great work so far and had some very favorable reviews, it could become a big contender in the cryptocurrency exchange scene, not only that, they will be adding pairing for fiat transactions, something i feel I/Ocoin desperately needs,  a way of making it available to all to easily purchase with  hard earned cash.

I did email the good chaps at bitspark to add i/ocoin. If the community here would do the same i am sure they will add I/Ocoin.

Will check into the IRC (Internet Relay Chat)on Sunday also, not used IRC before, but i am sure it is quite straightforward. Just want to add, i am getting a nice feeling about this coin, it was looking a little concerning at one point, but all signs are strong.  Really happy to have a nice investment in I/Ocoin and its hard working development team.

Thanks for the feedback CoinAngel, we have received requests from the IOcoin community and have added IOcoin to our list of coins to be tested and implemented! We hope to have it implemented probably not for this weeks feature update most likely the week after

A solid Whitepaper you have there.  From what i can see, from the original announcement, you have reached all goals set so far. So i will take a chance and buy a nice bag of coins, feeling confident, these great developments will be created.

There is quite a lot to understand, i have a few questions.

Q: In Section/page 2. You mention "advanced system for delegation of rights"  What exactly do you mean by this?

Q: Smart Contracts - what are Smart Contracts and why are they important?

Q: You mention you can keep balances private, so when i pay someone with I/OCoin they can not see my balance,
 is this like Private transactions Feature?

Q: Stop loss contract, completely baffling, would like to learn more.

Q: What are OP_CODES ?  Which other coin has them?

Other than that, i understood most of it.   Good luck with the developments!  Will be watching !
