Dang, I'm on the wrong blockchain . . . I was enjoying all the staking too.

I'll go get to the bottom of that tomorrow after traveling home.

I have been thinking a lot about the ANN page and I'm sorry I did not complete it when I said I would. After thinking about it and reading posts that suggested we hold off, I tabled the work (and was relieved) and went on to a pressing to do list.

In the future you can count on me to be reliable or in communication.

Wurst und company . . . you are my heroes.

Everything I needed to learn about crypto . . . I studied on Triangles.

I agree with Stephen. TRI is the bees knees and I don't want to F up the ANN / web.

I do have a vision though and would like to know what you like about TRI, or what you want to promote. I see it as an old school money club meets new world crypto technology.

I also like the "tiny sleeping giant".

Low volume can grow individual units very quickly. Venture capital through coin trade, purchase or gift.

What do you like from other coin pages? I already have a sense of our personalities and hey . . . we all have something in common . . . YOU KNOW WHAT!

Do we have a road map? How about our Dev team? I will post the dev addresses for sure. Social media for sure. What do you want to share as the long term vision?

I think our website should be a money club service that allows for cloudfunding and contacts for fellow TRI holders.

This is a messy post I know, but I intend it to create some shared visions.

Info about the MAC Wallet:

I successfully synced the MAC wallet and it works. If I run the wallet now on a clean Mac (no necessary libraries installed / no Xcode) it won't open.
If I open it via the command line (open triangles-qt.app), I get the error "LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed for the application /Applications/ducknotewallet.app with error -10810." I tried now different things (discussed in other threads) without success, but I keep trying.

If the wallet (the version where I get the error) is desired, I can upload it to Mega. But as I said, it works on my compilation environment but not on a clean Mac.

EDIT: As I thought the problem are the missing dependecies. I tested the wallet now on a clean Mac OS 10.9 (Mavericks) and only installed the Mac Ports of libevent and Qt4 and the wallet worked and synced directly.

And yes, I was lazy, i did not make my own css, I ripped it from some other coins block explorer. There will be time to change that - but that's not today.

Finally the Mac wallet is ready. I tried the wallet on a clean MacOS 10.9 (Mavericks) and it worked. Also it synced on the first try.

To start the wallet on your Mac:

1. Download the Mac Wallet from here:

2. Download the bootstrap.dat from here:

3. For security reason, backup your wallet (The wallet is located in ~/Library/Application Support/triangles/wallet.dat )
4. Delete the blk0001.dat and blkindex.dat in ~/Library/Application Support/triangles/
5. Copy the downloaded bootstrap.dat in ~/Library/Application Support/triangles/
6. Open the downloaded wallet with the command line "open triangles-qt.app --args -connect=ubxidutptf2sslhq.onion:24112"
7. After the first sync you can start it normally without the "-connect=..." parameter.

I hope it will also work on other versions of MacOS, if not please let me know so I can check if I can get the MacOS-Version such that I can reproduce the error.

I dont exactly feel like deciding what to put there, so how about we decide?

For this i will create a "Triangles Playground" for everyone who wants to participate. A "Triangles Playground" is a personal subdomain for which i give you sftp (secureftp) access (if you never heard of that or dont know how to use this - no problem, you get a 3-liner-manual from me) and which has Bootstrap (http://getbootstrap.com) preinstalled.

Everybody can do whatever he wants with his own playground but i think some things are mandatory: General Info/About Section, Download Section, Technical HowTo ("How to sync/upgrade" - maybe integrated into Download Section), Link to Block Explorer.

I would suggest waiting a few days or maybe a week and then decide which design, which parts and which ideas of which playground we use for the final page. Combining parts from different pages is quite easy, possible and likely.

What do you think? Any ideas? Criticism? Feedback? 2 cents?

I love the playground idea, thanks for setting me up. I'd say a week or two even on tinkering with design[and 10 playgrounds to look through ]. You already have all the hard work under control.
Would it be difficult to add a rich list to the explorer? People love looking at themselves in the mirror.

Yes, the network is running smooth as far as I can tell.
Also I like the idea with the playgrounds. In that way everyone can contribute something (skills, ideas, etc.).
I played today also a bit on my playground and I developed a simple game idea.

The idea is the following:
First you have X unknown cards, for example 25 unknown cards.
One card (I will call it Jackpot-Card) has an adjustable value of TRI, for example 5 TRI.
The other 24 cards are all traps.
The game consists now by guessing under which card the 5 TRI are hidden.
Each time the user guesses he pays a fixed amount of TRI.
If the guess was successful, the users gets the 5 TRI (added to his balance) and a new game starts.
If the guess was a fail, the guessed card is "out of the game" and the game continues with a card less.

Some aspects to mention:

• A simple account system is needed, only username, password and email (optional)
• Everyone gets the same game, so it's a community game.
• I have a concept to make the game "cheat-proof" from the server side. Such that the Jackpot-Card is already known at the beginning of the game but not in plain-text. After each game the secrets are published. In that way the users can check every game for its correctness.

As I said it is a very simple game, but a Nice-To-Have. Maybe some other games can be added in the future.
And if the game drops some profit, this profit can be used for further works (Faucets, Development and so on).
So, what thinks the community about it?
