good work. did anyone else notice that all the loser trolls like fallling and his sock puppets like rat poison, deadcoin, xiaoxiao, are gone? Blitz, I've noticed that there are a few more bearish accounts, so keep up the good work, and get them all banned!
I have strong suspicions that this prolonged bear market is the result of all their FUD, so listen up people. If you don't support bitcoin and you're not invested, then your opinion doesn't matter here.

I disagree with the banning, unless they are multi-accounting then they should be able to share their speculation, good or bad. It's not much of a discussion if only one side is getting to share their views

Having email verification isn't going to stop trolls or multi-accounters. Sure, it'll make it a bit more annoying and tedious for them, but nothing will stop a determined troll or fudster.

Yes the trolls will never stop but the new forum software will try to make their registration more complicated ( if it will have this function). |

I seldom check the speculation section, but according to Blitz ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=809325.0), fallling was banned for spamming rather than spreading FUD. PS: fallling, maybe we could rehabilitate/unban your main account if you promise not to spam anymore in the future (creating too many similar topics and posts, and bumping all your topics at once).

SMS verification will slow them down, one number per account. Would keep the lazy scammers and account farmers away. Not sure how that would work though. Haven't seen it done on many forums and I know most people here want to remain somewhat anonymous. |
