NXT or NAUT are mentioned, but they could create token with XCH. I have considered to create BITDRAKME token. 48.000.000(est. 4x population of Greece), but I have too less connections in Greece to make it work. Wink  DRAKME is old Greek for Drachma, so it includes Drak...Wink

Drak will you develop new android wallet for merge mining?

https://github.com/esotericizm/viacoin-wallet

That's the source. Thankfully it's available.

I'm too poor to buy a lot of VIA right now, but I'd try to get it working for a reasonable bounty in VIA.

I think it would add some luster back to the VIA brand. I've spent a lot of time checking out VIA and it looks to be the real deal. But IMHO it needs a tune up, no offense to the devs. This really should be a top 20-30 coin. There isn't any reason why it shouldn't be except for some of these frayed ends.

It doesnt halve but declines according to this schedule

Blocks 42402-5256000 = 5 VIA
Blocks 5256001-10512000 =4 VIA
Blocks 10512001-15768000 = 3 VIA
Blocks 15768001-21024000 = 2 VIA
Blocks 21024001-26280000 = 1 VIA
Blocks 26280001-31536000 = 0.5 VIA

This reward schedule is confusing. VIA has 1,237,584 blocks (30 second block times?) with a money supply of 16,224,325 VIA. That would make the block reward averaging 13.11 VIA/block. The current output is 5 per block and the emission is only about 1/4 the way to the drop to 4 VIA. Was the block reward prior to 42,402 something like 242 VIA?

With a 30 second block time, the current emission will yield 5,256,000 VIA per year. Starting from now, that's an inflation rate of 33.3%. After 1 year, the inflation will drop to 25%. After two years the rate drops to 20%. Then, the 4 VIA reward kicks in and inflation drops to 13% for the 4th year, starting from now. 13-16% is not bad, but the 33.3% annual inflation currently experienced is going to have a significant impact on price.

15s per block.

Agreed, get it working and I'll shower you with vialove

This looks like it's going to be a community Based coin. Unless Drak will continue to work on it

I could sell and knock the price down a bit. Miners dumping and people who want a couple hundred dollars will soon dump.

Only thing we can hope for is btc to pump which causes alts to pump for no reason then get out before the dump.

I would still be holding even if i sold 4mm, i bought quite a bit at IPO, just looking to get some BTC... and the market is extremely un-liquid for XCH. need some cash.

Hah, you're sounding like one of those people who are always complaining, what exactly does everyone in Crypto know again ?

Viacoin's main developer adds value to the overall ecosystem ...

There's a guy with some track record in crypto that wasn't as delicate as I was with him recently. I'm sure you have heard about it...

So it's not everyone anymore then just some random guy with some track record in crypto!

Are you pretending not to know who the "random guy" is, or you really don't know? OK, let me illustrate you a bit in case it is the latter: After Nakamoto himself, there's no one with more credibility in the crypto world. Not even a close second to him. Go find out, ok? It's all over the place...
