Yeah there's some shenanigans between registry and the tld registry, in any case I am on it and aware of the issue and it will be solved although it might not be super quick. This is in the wrong thread btw

That's unfortunate about the domain, pretty important to viacoin. Is there ongoing development by you or others? Or is this now a "community" project?

NXT or NAUT are mentioned, but they could create token with XCH. I have considered to create BITDRAKME token. 48.000.000(est. 4x population of Greece), but I have too less connections in Greece to make it work.   DRAKME is old Greek for Drachma, so it includes Drak...

I'm too poor to buy a lot of VIA right now, but I'd try to get it working for a reasonable bounty in VIA.

I think it would add some luster back to the VIA brand. I've spent a lot of time checking out VIA and it looks to be the real deal. But IMHO it needs a tune up, no offense to the devs. This really should be a top 20-30 coin. There isn't any reason why it shouldn't be except for some of these frayed ends.

This reward schedule is confusing. VIA has 1,237,584 blocks (30 second block times?) with a money supply of 16,224,325 VIA. That would make the block reward averaging 13.11 VIA/block. The current output is 5 per block and the emission is only about 1/4 the way to the drop to 4 VIA. Was the block reward prior to 42,402 something like 242 VIA?

With a 30 second block time, the current emission will yield 5,256,000 VIA per year. Starting from now, that's an inflation rate of 33.3%. After 1 year, the inflation will drop to 25%. After two years the rate drops to 20%. Then, the 4 VIA reward kicks in and inflation drops to 13% for the 4th year, starting from now. 13-16% is not bad, but the 33.3% annual inflation currently experienced is going to have a significant impact on price.
