Also, a decree of the king of Cryptoworld:

The Most Ancient and Wise Community of the Monero House

The first organization character created to the game, Monero House, is feeling the renaissance.

The organization was established and the House was built in 1-C-A3 in 1450, almost 14 decades ago. The House was designed to be 2-story with 2 mezzanines, but due to the haste in constructing it for the Golden Jubilee, only HG The Bishop and the King were contacted for donations. They split the cost of construction and the lot was donated by the Town. Only the lower half of the House was constructed, and it stands to this day.

The House has a Monero Info Center, a Tavern with a cabinet, and some offices/hotel rooms. The Monero House hotel was the first hotel in the town, closing after 100 years of operation in 1550. The Monero House is proud of its shrewd manager (MGR-5) who is currently leased to HM The King, and is administering the Royal Household, one of the largest households in the game with a 10 NPC strong management and 67 million annual expenditure.

What is happening now is that the Hall of Fame, formerly residing in BCT, will be transferred to CK with all its prizes and privileges. The people who have a rank in the BCT HoF, will be credited an equal rank in the CK HoF. To make the transition possible, the holders of the ancient titles from the BCT era, will have to register to CK. Well, that is as easy as contacting the nearest administrator. For the ones that register during the Ancient era, approximately 10 real-days, the following bonuses are credited:

- 1 CKG (currently valued at about 0.3 XMR) for every 10

Risto, your original thread is currently prominently linked from the Monero reddit - you may want to edit the OP in your thread to link here.

Looks like Risto has edited the OP.  I don't think anyone will have too much difficulty finding their way here :-)

Yes, It would be good to have everyone receiving the updates!

Also cAPSLOCK, if 2 days go by without anyone donating, you should bump, and give new titles to the donators Smiley

I was just thinking about how to create a  little action here...  but yes bumping the thread is at least one good way.  I don't want to spam the main thread, but I think I can make a fairly classy low key plea there shortly.  I shall.

In the original thread, Risto noted:

"I think honor is enough for kyu grades. For Dan levels, you should contact the treasurer in advance and he will give you something that resembles a satoshimessage (or whatever that identifies you)."

So what is the process now for Dan levels, and who is the treasurer?

One of the options is to make the donation and send the XMR transaction id of the donation to cAPSLOCK. Could the OP please confirm if this would work? Thanks.

Edit: Correction: Generate and send a payment ID for the transaction not a transaction ID

I believe for the lower Dan levels a simple transaction id or screenshot from an exchange is good... but I will verify, and determine if there is a way to use payment IDs.

I am considering a donation at the 4th dan level just over 200 XMR.
Edit: The coins are in my personal wallet not on an exchange. I still keep my MTGox YubiKey on my keychain by the way.  Wink

That should work for now for verifying larger donations.  Let's hope it becomes a nuisance. The good kind of problem to have.

Do donate folks.  This project needs the support from the community.  If you cant code or test you still can give tangibly this way.

I completed my donation of 202.33 XMR and provided the payment id to fluffypony via PM.

I generated the XMR payment id as follows:
a) Visit http://www.random.org/integers/?mode=advanced
b) Under part 1: choose 64 random integers with each integer between 0 and 15. For number of columns choose 64, 32 or 16. This is for ease of formatting.
c) Under part 2: choose hexadecimal, part 3: choose "As a bare-bones text document (type text/plain)", part4: choose "Generate your own personal randomization right now"
d) Under part 5: choose "Get Numbers"
e) Copy the generated numbers to a text editor, gedit in GNU/Linux, is a good choice and then edit out the non printing characters.

The result is a perfectly valid XMR payment id and unlike using an exchange no third party is aware of it. Furthermore this does not clutter up the exchange's database.
