Is there some trick to getting solo mining working on this coin. I solo mine dozens of coins with no issue but I can't seem to get this one to talk. This is my config file:

rpcpassword=password
rpcuser=userid
rpcallowip=192.168.*.*
rpcallowip=127.0.*.*
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
maxconnections=100
irc=1
qtstyle=2
stakegen=1
logtimestamps=1
minersleep=2000
stakemintime=72
stakecombine=40
stakesplit=80
port=15298
rpcport=15299
addnode=seed0.orbitcoin.org:15298
addnode=seed1.orbitcoin.org:15298

The wallet is full synced with 11 peers but it don't want to talk. This is not a firewall issue.

@allknowingeye

Could it be that you're trying to mine using the Scrypt algorithm?
To mine Orbitcoin you need to use NeoScrypt.
PoW diff is pretty high so instead of solomining you could mine
using a pool.

Why not trade it?

Blockstream could be a direct threat to btc and crypto in general as its comprised of folks who lost their names, their lives and all resources available to them, allowing a new corporate scam machine to be build on ashes of the ancient world.

Is Atomic Cross-Blockchain Interoperability the Future of Finance?
By Justin Connell -
January 19, 2017
Cryptocurrency enthusiasts paint a picture of digital currency and interoperable blockchains as the future of finance. They envisage a day where blockchain utilities like blockchain explorers, wallet software, and peer-to-peer exchanges support a melange, digital ecosystem in which blockchains are compatible at the technical level.

Atomic Cross-Chain Trading & Blockchain Interoperability

Is Atomic Cross-Blockchain Interoperability the Future of Finance?

Indeed, interoperability might be 2017’s Bitcoin buzzword. One way of achieving interoperability, in a way which steers clear of third party trust and single points of failure, is via atomic cross-chain trading. The transaction method entails two parties, controlling different cryptocurrencies (Litecoin as usual suspect), securely exchanging the cryptocurrencies sans intermediary.

Adding Millions of Bitcoin Users

megaUploadCurrent estimates on how many people use bitcoin range from 2 to 15 million. If even a small percentage of the 200 million previous users join Megaupload 2.0 this could easily multiply the number of real bitcoin users worldwide.

Optimistically, if the platform is anywhere near as successful as the original Megaupload, network effects and a larger population on the internet could drive many 100’s of millions of new users to site before the end of the year. This coupled with Abra’s recent announcement that their “Uber for money transfers” will be global in a month adds a great case for speculators as well.

Needham: Banning Does Not Prevent Bitcoin Adoption
By Kevin Helms -
January 20, 2017
Needham & Company LLC, released a note for investors Thursday on the ‘Economic and Financial Turmoil Driving Bitcoin Interest & Adoption’. The note discusses various indicators the firm believes would propel increased bitcoin adoption going forward, such as capital controls, demonetization, hyperinflation as well as bitcoin bans. Some factors may seem negative at first but Needham believes they ultimately drive bitcoin interest and adoption.

"While some countries have either banned bitcoin or enacted prohibitive regulations, we note that the results appear to be the opposite of the intended effect: interest in bitcoin has skyrocketed in some countries that have banned bitcoin."

Grayscale Investments has filed to list its Bitcoin Investment Trust on the New York Stock Exchange in a $500 million initial public offering, according to documents submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday. Shares of the trust, which presently trades over the counter, have been trading at a premium to the bitcoin price. The trust, which back in 2013 and exclusively invests in bitcoin, is one of the only options available to institutional investors wishing to gain exposure to the currency.
