Which pool will yield the most bitcoins?

Hello, I'm new to the bitcoin mining community, so I was wondering which pool would be best for me. I plan on running 2 or 3 6TH/s miners 24/7. Thanks for the help!

You're planning to drop 12 to 18TH/s on the network, yet you have no idea on where you might want to point it?  Seriously?  The only 6TH/s miners I know of are the upcoming SP30s from Spondoolies-Tech.  If you happened to get on RoadStress' group buy in April, you could have had them for about $4500 each.  However, from your statement of "I plan on running 2 or 3...", I can infer that you have not yet purchased the equipment.  That being the case, you're thinking of dropping anywhere between $10,000 and $15,000 on equipment, without having even done the most preliminary of research.

Take a look around.  Read up on the different offerings.  Look at payout mechanisms, fee structures, hash rates, etc.  Sheesh... tell you what, I'll charge you 0.5BTC an hour and do all of the research for you.  T&M contract, with at least 40 hours of work payable up front, non-refundable.

Unless you are a big rich guy running all those hardware and all the power those hardware are going to take is going to be crazy. You should just do cloud mining instead where you can start with a certain hash rate and add more as you go. PBmining is offer 0.003btc/GH which is really cheap. For Pb mining all you have to do is buy the contract give them payout address and that is it. The top guy who has a 30TH mining contract is making 6-7 bitcoins a week, so if you invest in that you would make quite a lot too. please if you are going to sign up can you do it under me.

The best pool is the pool that makes you happiest.  If having peace of mind is important then mine on the most stable pools like BTC Guild or Bitminter.  If guaranteed income makes you happy look for a PPS pool if it exists to negate variance.  If you like gambling and the thrill of possibly making double earnings mine on a smaller pool.

If Ghash.io wasn't trying to take over the network they would be an option, but in their current state they need to be avoided at all cost.

Spondoolies Tech SP30 is the only legitimate 6THs miner known to be in the pipeline. All others (you know who!) are scams until proven otherwise.

Day?  No.  Since the network hash rate and difficulty do not remain static, you can't get the prediction to the day.  I can, however, tell you that the reward drops to 12.5BTC at block 420,000 and we (as of writing this post) are on 312450.

Care to explain the portion I bolded, especially the "relatively unstable" part of it?  What kinds of "features" are lacking in p2pool?

I'm not claiming p2pool is perfect - but it is a far cry from the implication you're making of it being a featureless, unstable mining option.

Which ever pool that you mine on will offer the same rewards in the long run, assuming that it is running properly. If a pool is unstable then a miner's reward will be lower from the instability.

I'm not claiming p2pool is perfect - but it is a far cry from the implication you're making of it being a featureless, unstable mining option.

For example, they do not offer notifications if your miner goes down below the expected hashrate and you can set it in most of other pools.  There are serveral miners that you have to manually tweak to ensure that your can get the lowest reject. On normal pools, you won't have to do so.

If you're looking for a pool, I'd recommend you look at the pool comparison page which you can find by searching and then find one with low fees, a good interface, and one that's reliable.  Do not go with Ghash please as they are up to something no good, IMHO, or else are just really greedy and don't care about BTC.

2) Mining in a pool which finds blocks in a time( neither faster nor slower ) @ 2% fee .

I excluded Ghash.io as it doesn't seem good.

If you join a pool which find blocks every day, you are likely to experience lesser payouts but in the long run, you should get around the same,more frequent blocks equals less payout per block but less blocks equals to more payout per block. In fact, the pool with lower fee will win the other pool with higher fee.

NO!  It takes a lot of work - essentially a full time job to run a pool that has very low rejects.  The orphan rates also depend on how well coded the the pool is and how good their servers are (money can buy better servers).  Downtime again is up to the pool OP working.

Different hardware will work differently on different pools so ultimately it's up to the user to try out each pool.  The best thing to do would be set failovers and have the mining program spread the hash over multiple pools to decrease variance.

0% is impossible.  99.99% is not, and some pools have less than 4 hours of hiccup time during an entire year - BTCGuild is one of those.  Not having to babysit my ASICs and make sure the pool is not disconnecting them and getting stale shares is worth more to me in time savings than trying to eek out a theoretical 0.01% more profit on another pool.  Time is money after all.

If you have a decent amount of THs, BTCGuild has a private server that I've never seen go down. I think Eluthria runs a phenomenal pool. If Bitcoin had an awards show, he'd win best Pool Op every year.
