the 2nd hard fork happened at block 15680 (2014-07-24 18:54:34 GMT) and so far everything works as expected 

For those of you who didn't update yet, please DO IT NOW! If you mint on the wrong block chain your staked blocks are LOST. And don't move any funds around until you update your wallet to v1.1.1 or you will LOOSE COINS!!

Bought some coins for around 100 sat each, you guys seem to be doing good work with this coin. It has a history of over 6000 sat each and that was before it got distributed over many people as of right now (and as the coin's suppose to be!) so i'm looking forward to this. Hope you guys will do good with the promotion, it's so important these days in the altcoin world and failing at it will not lead to a success

    FairCoin was abandoned at finals of April 2014 by its original developer; but not after promising huge projects, private investors, and much more. The FairCoin community was left to sit with unfulfilled promises, high hopes diminished, and a moral completely drained. A few leaders in the remaining community organized a new development team, consisting of some of the most devoted members.

    From the inicial community take over, a team of three commited individuals, was who really give continuity to the dev team: smartaction, drakandar and thokon00

    Because the creator of the second ANN was not really involved and this was inefficient to have a good communication, we decided to close the second ANN at the same time of the First hard fork, and we created this third ANN really accessable by the current Faircoin Development Team.

economy, has decided to endorse faircoin and is working in a project for
the publical promotion and extension of faircoin that will be published
with all the details in september. Because they want to lead directly
the communication of their campaign we are not authorised to publish
more details at the moment.

From what I know, I think that FairCoin is a legit investment:
- As promised, the team is still succesful taking care of FairCoin.
- To secure the network and the propogation of the blockchain we've squashed some serious bugs and switched to Grøstl.
- Beyond expectations we now give you interesting plans for september.
- Working together with Moolah and MintPal

great work devs, we need to promote faircoin and take it to previous position,

this coin is so much undervalued. If you invest just 1 BTC at this price you own 1/50 of all.
IMO the price should just know one direction...selling would be not very clever
