And not only this. As far i know, this is going a be one of the best, if not the best Android wallets in a POS coin... With bloom filtering and without central nodes needed.  FairCoin going to better also in the development side

I didnt moved them away before mintpal/moolah shows its real professionalism. People who trusted them, like me, are sucked now...lesson learned.

There is clearly an urgent need for an exchange atm, but i am not sure about rushing into this small exchanges, just for security reasons.

With so many new or unknown exchanges out there we expose the risk of a hack or simply the exchange to close down and we will loose a bunch of coins.

Perhaps we should concentrate in Bittrex until Mintpal is back up and running, hoping there is no loss in faircoins @Mintpal.

Also i think we need just one exchange, that will give us better control on the value.

Thx guys. I will look into faircoin. Seems like it is promising. Could somebody give me an unbiased answer if it wise to buy now off market or wait until Mintpal reopens? I am looking for a good entry price. Will presumably the price rise after Mintpal opening or will people try to get out and sell and price goes down?

I feel that those (together with MintPal when they have put their machinery together again and fix this mess) are the exchanges that should be capable to handle the volume that FairCoin will cause.

The more exchanges the better even if they're new and small exchanges.  As it helps to decentralise the trading of Faircoin and adds much needed redundancy to the likes of the current MintPal problem.

I too don't see too much harm in small exchanges adding FairCoin to their portfolio. It's a free market and buyers should pay attention where they stash their money (preferably not in an exchange...).

Looking at the future, I wonder what the role of exchanges will be. Eventually more and more FairCoin will leave the exchanges. The upcoming Android app is yet another example of that.

Centralisation is not good, i agree with that, but for the time being is the best for Faircoin.
And yeah, sadly you can only keep coins in any exchange if you can afford to loose them.
