It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

https://vaultex.io/market/21 right now is down....so, there isn't any exchange in this moment?

there you go: http://fair-coin.org/#exchanges

regs
Thomas

we may need a trusted exchange.
After we got that Mintpal problem all sorted, we'll get on bittrex!

Currently we are waiting for essential information from the Mintpal guys, about how the exact withdrawal procedure could look like. If all goes well we can provide further information by tomorrow.

regs
Thomas

That is a clear plan. Support FAIR as I can.

I am decided to reactivate exchanges and price reference this week. Solving the mintpal problem and getting faircoin in Bittrex

For Bittrex
the bounty is at 0.35 BTC we need to get 3 BTC in total
https://blockchain.info/address/1KGzQzr8MxwPrqyJoTCCb2J1njP4EeBZpF

I have setup an adress in faircoin to get also donations for this bounty
is this one https://www.fair-coin.org/address/fGEus6uJZPSNZbVZ9MKmrARSrMfWqqRttg

i will exchange this faircoins to bitcoins for 0.00002500 (i have already buyers for it)

Therefore 2.65 BTC pending =  66250 Faircoins pending

Perhaps would be more easy for this community to contribute in faircoin, yes?

Also, i count that after getting the faircoins out of mintpal, yet will be easy to get donations,  Wink
Bump again.
Don't forget to donate some FAIRs to get on bittrex, when you got your coins back from mintpal :-)

What is about the FairBag function in fair.coop...is it already available? Would be nice to get the Faircoin into a save place as soon as possible when I get them back after this Minpal fiasco.

Is not yet ready, because depends of the coop wallet (which was delayed for the dark wallet developments of the same people, building it.

, but if you dont trust yourself to take care of a wallet in your computer, do you can join the fairsaving project, which its already active.

regards

How is it going

Fair coin needs to get listed on an exchange now mintpal has closed. Some people are trying for bittrex, but a coin now needs 0.2 bitcoin's worth of trades a day to stay listed on there. Bittrex has become even more aggressive at removing coins over the last few months.
