of course FGPA can mine it 400mh/s by card... Gpu's miner are so stupid .... like me  how and what fgpa Any coin can be mined by FPGA/ASIC given enough time and development funds. It would not be a single FPGA/ASIC, It would be 1 per algo with each stage pipelined. The speed of the entire configuration would be the speed of the slowest link and not multiplied by the number of internal algo's. Even memory intensive algo's can be done but would be much harder to implement. Eventually there will be an FPGA/ASIC for each algo and they will be dynamically reconfigurable to cover things like X11 and the like. I doubt they exist yet but they will come. The only way to stay ahead is to develop a new algo for each new coin, and by new I mean a totally new algo, not just a new combination of existing algos. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Anyway that's why I want to stop the multi pool dumps. And so should everyone who isn't mining any longer. People think that because it's hard to mine, there won't be dumps. They couldn't be more wrong. It just means that the dumping goes for longer than normal. And after enough dumps, people will move on from elite, discounting it as the newest scamcoin. You need to raise buyer confidence. It is severely lowered every dump. |

You might be right in some things, but I think you are too negative. Maybe the dump will be longer than the usual altcoins, but once the PoW phase is over the price will rise a lot I think. Personally, I rather long-term coins than those who have 2 days of PoW and then they dissapear in less than a week. But I guess it's still too early to know. This was added to Bittrex a few hours ago, and it's already on page 1. I think in 2 or 3 days the volume will be much higher. |
