I was looking at some of the altcoins and I do not understand why they are worth so much and same with bitcoin?

Most of the altcoins are not worth what their marketcap implies. Try selling them in any quantity and the value will dump before you get even close to selling them all off.

bitcoin's value. I won't speak to that.

Ethereum raised more than 7000 BTC in 2-3 days. So I won't say it is not worth their market cap yet.

meh who cares buy that crap ipo if you want to benefit others and not everyone.

I want a currency or money supply that is fair for all, one that is not fueled by btc or fiat since btc is fueled by fiat... don`t get me wrong btc and fiat have both been amazing and have propelled humanity into the right direction and well sometimes the wrong direction and I respect them both, We can/could use both of them in the future. We can use bitcoins technology and fiats market pricing index to help a real money supply that is just and fair for all, lots of people want gold and sliver to, which I think they are alright except we kind of need the gold for future space projects and other things, not to mention who owns all the gold and sliver? "1980`s 1990`s WE BUY GOLD NOW COMMERCIAL.exec... CASH FOR GOLD NOW ETC ETC" also who can buy all the bitcoin? who creates all the fiat? ....

Now money is a great thing for humans don`t get me wrong, it makes trading easy, it propels people to work and build things, it maintains budgets for our governments and in some country`s it has pushed civilization to a whole new era.

If there was a global money/coin we all mined from birth or perhaps got released a certain amount of our new coin each year it could work, you could still gain/lose some of it if your want to enterprise or sell your food or do whatever from your work to gain more it would propel people to do stuff still to gain more then what they have and work would still get done and jobs would still be around.  Most of the richest people I know are hard working people.

Now go ahead, take the U.N and countries that want to be involved and somehow divide population/country size/exports (with fiat charts) and give them some of this coin so our system we have currently also stays intact we don`t need to kill the whole system the system is pretty good right now but defiantly could be better and nicer to all.

-I purpose a coin that everyone mines from birth at the same rate
-The Leaders of each nation are given some extra to control stability
-People market there own coins for the own products/business (you can buy some of my wine and I earn some of your "new" coin that I know you worked for or is part of your human/country's allowance and not just made up b.s.

this seems the fairest to me.. it is not fueled by money that can be made up out of thin air... has all the btc technology link to birth certificates, keeps the country's fair and just and the money supply fair and just.

can`t we all just work together and explore space? and perhaps have war with space aliens.. or better yet make friends with them, instead of being like the red and black ants fighting all the time? Have a world that all can prosper in if they do the work to? what race are you? I am human. Whats my background? *looks behind me*

I admit I am not perfect and have make mistakes and I am sure others have to, only way to learn what to do is from making mistakes, haven`t we made enough on earth already? can we not learn from the past what happens to our own species due to broken money supply matters?

anyways I hope someday for the sake of humanity we can work together and yes I agree there needs to be population control the world is finite making our money out of finite things is bad, heck a space asteroid could hit us at anytime why not go to war with stopping that sort of thing from happening.

... someday ... hopefully.

Hey guys I am new to bitcoin

Should I back my business with my own coin?  I own a grape winery in Canada
or should I just accept btc?

I was looking at some of the altcoins and I do not understand why they are worth so much and same with bitcoin? Someone told me bitcoin was a way to stop bankers from printing the money supply something about a Genesis block, But can`t all the bankers just buy it up with the fiat anyways? or the miners with mass operations just could just be bought by bankers anyways? so I am confuse to why bitcoin is worth so much? is there a coin where everyone is born with a certain amount of coin leaving plenty room for enterprise for people who want to work and help humanity and gain more of a fair coin where bankers can just not buy it? is there any commodity backed coins where business`s use there own currency to avoid tax`s and law`s? I saw sync or urocoin they make sense but some people are saying scam?
No reason you can't do both! Wink

Start accepting bitcoin absolutely (if us based, bitpay or coinbase great options) at the very least.

I think bitcoin is a great way to show you business to the people, let them know you like to think different and want to improve the world in way others might now be. If you need any help with setting up bitcoin for you business I am sure you'll find some great help around here.
