there is never a safe way to gamble, the more you think that you are safe, the more you will actually lose your coins, if there is a safe way to gamble, no one will be opening a gambling sites, please keep in mind, only gamble what you are ready to loss, because there is a chance to win and also a chance to lose

You guys talking about that 1.01x strategy. That is SUPER bad, as in really really really bad. As someone that has been here for almost 6 months, I can say that I have seen many streaks where its either crashes on 0x or 1x 3 times in a row. Hell I've even seen a 5x with those numbers. Please do not do this strategy, especially with 1.1 btc. Unless you feel like donating money to Ryan this is a bad idea.

1.1 isnt that good of a strategy, even for -EV. I suggest you talk in chat and ask someone about something better.

This looks like a very interesting game.. I'll win by using that 1% skill. Smiley
Edit:  Played like 20 rounds, really awesome, I thought I was rich, but then realized 1 bit is like 0.000001 BTC x_x

Yah, if you look back in this thread, there are a bunch of people who are totally confused by this "bits" lingo.  I've seen it in a few places and I personally find it pretty dumb.  Why some people think it's a good idea to add the confusion of renaming a particular fraction of bitcoin I have no idea.

FWIW, I haven't tried moneypot I just read through this thread.

To make it more understandable

1 bit = 100 satoshis, that is nothing weird with it and its has been used in quite few sites, 100 satoshis is worthless now, by then when a satoshi could be worth some more, the used of bits could be more popular

PS : if you havent tried, then you must try it, beware of addiction  Wink

Bits make sense with the way the multiplier works in this game. Also the "bunch of people" was really only Sed, who has the intelligence of a kindergartener. Its really just base 10 and honestly once you get used to doing the calculation in your head bits are a lot more enjoyable

Since this many people are bothered with bits and the ones that has no problem adjusting wouldn't mind. Isn't it high time moneypot start using satoshi/btc , at least try it for a while and see which one gets less problems?

I think it's better use bits than satoshi/btc, since most players already get used with bits Grin
And it feel different use satoshi/btc compared with bits

I feel gamble a lot when i use bits

i think it is better if they add an option to select what type the user want to use. satoshi, bits, mbtc or btc Smiley

Agree, this would satisfy every person. Just like in Bitcoin qt, we can choose from using BTC, mBTC or uBTC as the unit ourselves.

I dont see this to be an issue, everyone were once not farmilar with ubtc or mbtc aswell, but we take our time to learn about this, if you take your time to actually learn and understand this , this wont be an issue anymore

A gambling websites first job is to attract gamblers , get more people to wager even more. If you give an option of btc, satoshi, mbtc, bits whatever you can find. Thats extra work for the website owner but at least it is a way to attract more people.

Now if a website says , do whatever you want to do , we will keep using bits. That website MIGHT lose some attraction to people, tough moneypot makes that up by getting more and more popular everyday.

MoneyPot makes it easy with it's own built in converter... Why people are not using it.. is beyond me.  Huh

If you start using Satoshi's the bigger numbers will become confusing for some players.... Bits enables to make more sensible bets with less big numbers.

I have to say, they are open to suggestions and they implement some of the ideas players ask for.  Grin Grin Grin

Still hoping they could implement a "shortcut key" for payout... The mouse action gets a bit tedious.  Sad Sad
