Factoring in the 1% chance of busting at 0 should give the bettor a total expected return of 0.49 (49%), no? Am I doing this math wrong?

The chance of busing at 0x, is actually 1 in 101 -- but it doesn't impact the house edge at all. (Because in the other 100 out of 101 games, the site gives out 1%). Making the whole bonus/instabust scheme 0 EV

Someone who is up 249 btc suggests he has something working for him. At this point, he has a large enough bankroll that he can survive large stretches of variance against him. The only real risk to him is the max win ceiling during a particularly bad stretch of variance limiting his profit on a martingale stretch.

The interesting thing is that BaB has a max bet.  So at a certain point, his automated betting runs out.  He's already exceeded expectation so much that it's very very unlikely that he'll "lose hard" to the point where he loses even a quarter of his winnings just because he can't bet that much for an extended period of time.

I know you run your own casino site and know more then I do but how can what you say be true ? If it was then wouldn't bustabit be losing money ? How can mathematically ot be plausable to male a profit. Its suppose to be the other way around otherwise the house won't make money since it is a business, which of coarse you already know ^^
