Added anon exchange teaser video in the OP, I was not lying guys, the screenshots were real  Smiley

Link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLzN3uHQcwo&feature=youtu.be

Special thanks to PR Rep Whale123 for making the video and uploading it for everyone to see

normal exchange, nothing special...

What could be added to help Voot's anon exchange differentiate itself from the rest, other than the fact that it is 100% on Tor? Let me know your suggestions and I can forward them to devs for future consideration. Right now the main focus is to get the exchange platform launched successfully to provide a baseline for future developments.

Decentralization! Thats what it's all about... Anon Exchange, VootCloud and Vootmarket should be Decentralized and implemented in the wallet.
Cloak is also working on a Decentralized Marketplace...

i think it was confirmed at some point that the market will be decentralised

I was hoping we would get the Market done first. Anon exchange is really awesome but if we beat Cloak to releasing our own market that accepts Voot it would be a game changer.

Main team is working on Exchange (I say it's about 95% done, but don't quote me on that, I am no IT guy), the rest of the team is working simultaneosly on Voot Cloud and Voot Market. I hope I will be able to access beta of those as well and will post some screens.

!

I've seen the document that whale123 will reveal today (helped with one of the aspects) and it looks like game changer to me. Can't tell you more, since I promised I will keep my mouth shut till it is made public. I hope that whale123 won't mind if I tell that it is something that could give investors even more long-term trust. Time to transfer your coins back from the exchange and return to staking. Wink

Well, I guess you could call it a game changer, but I find the new beginning more suitable title. Wink

Who is that person constantly trying to suppress price by putting on and off this huge sell wall? Come on, GTFO, help building buy walls instead.

Question: should we set hard deadlines for Smoke team and tip them if they deliver on time? Let the community decide.

No deadlines plz.
Its bad because 1 day or even few hours delay and all comunity make fud and panic sell. Nobody like panic sell and if somebody once sell he maybe dont want it back buy again.
Its programming and to hard tell "I finish it after 4 days and 7 hours hmm I done at 5 pm" etc.

Offcourse news like "we finished something in few days or one week or 2 week" or working already on this always welcome and needed. But not hard deadlines.

Sry for bad english.

Well, that was an unfortunate week to be away on holiday.  Seems like voot went on an emotional roller coaster for a while there.  Wish I'd been here to help (and to take advantage of voot at 65 sats!)

Glad to see jeffersonairplane and whale123 stepping in to handle PR - thumbs up to you guys.   Looking forward to one strong feature release to smooth out voot's dented reputation and put it back on track. Keep up the good work MsCollec and the smoke team.

No hard deadlines.  Look what happened last week when Saturday evening was missed.  Tips will come naturally if the community are impressed with a release.  A rough ETA, though, is essential IMO to maintain confidence in the coin's development.

I don' t like the idea of hard deadlines in the programming world. "This week" or "Next week" is enough IMO. Let them work out bugs without the stress of meeting hard deadlines.

But we should tip them anyways! They are doing a lot of hard work.

I agree Smiley  No hard deadlines, it's asking for trouble and FUD.

Maybe deadline should be not particular date, but week? For example, if they deliver anon ex next week, they will get tip for that.

I think we should consider the deadline.
If they give you food in the restaurant, you just pay. If they serve you excepitonally well or the food is uber great, you give a tip, additional money.

Smoke team will be paid for their services anyway. If their deliver on time, they will be tipped. Simple as that. If you end programming job quicker, you might get bonus at work. Same thing here. If the exchange is almost done, let's set the deadline for next week. Has anyone who has seen beta confirm that it is almost ready? Which date should we chose?

I agree that deadline is good idea. If they manage to launch at deadline - great. If they do not - they will deliver later, just without the tip.
