No. They would pump if the insider info would be about problems (remember? Voot was pumped before exchange delay). They would dump before good news, before that is additional moment to get more coins that can be sold on the rally after good news. I might be wrong on that but my bet is that btc38 is tomorrow, not next week. We will see soon.

No. They would pump if the insider info would be about problems (remember? Voot was pumped before exchange delay). They would dump before good news, before that is additional moment to get more coins that can be sold on the rally after good news. I might be wrong on that but my bet is that btc38 is tomorrow, not next week. We will see soon.

This is the only thing that bothers me about this whole situation.  Were already behind 5 days soon to be 6.  That means there was NO communication between the 2 teams (Dev and Smoke) and a warning SHOULD of gone out before Saturday.  The death of the main coders family member was tragic, but that alone single handedly i'snt the cause for this delay (they were already delayed before hand).

Now we wait and continue to wait.

But something like this definately affect the work. He is the lead developer of the exchange and i can promise he is not back to full speed yet.

Yes, i hope there will be no more hard deadlines. It`s good to create buzz before and when a product is finished you can leave it to "we will launch this week". Earlier MsCollec just delivered, no deadlines.

No he is not unfortunately. But if he invest he does effect the value of his investment.
We could of course create a donation account for his work.

We need to setup a plan for VOOT. Create a PR group to help JA, a lead developer (MsCollec) wich pull the strings  and work close with the PR team. We already have some nice things coming and more should know about it.
For example the exchange wich could have a huge effect on VOOT.
If the exchange is a sucess and as planned, some (all) of the trading fees goes to stabilize the price of VOOT - This is really something!

I am known on Bitcointalk as whale123 and starting today, I will be joining Voot team.
As you probably know, other members of the team are jeffersonsairplane, who along with me, will be taking care of coin's PR, and MsCollec, who started the party and is still among us. Note, that Voot greatly relies on outsourcing - many innovations that are being prepared are developed by Smoke Team.

I've been with Voot for a long time and I am planning to stay with it. I am one of the biggest Voot holders, so I will be doing my work best way I can and I do not want any donations for it, since by working properly, I am also protecting my own investment. This should guarantee best work possible.

Also, note that english is not my native language, but I guess I operate it good enough not to be ashamed of it. I live in similar timezone to Smoke Project team, which might make communication between us easier.

My plan for the following days is:

1. I will do my best, to stay in touch with the community - throught Twitter and Bitcointalk. I will try to use Twitter more than it was done before. If any mayor things will happen, I will post both here and on Twitter, starting with Twitter. So if you do not follow Voot on Twitter, better start now: https://twitter.com/vootcoin
The plan is to post something at least once a day and sometimes even more often if necessary. If you have Twitter account, retweeting will be greatly appreciated.

2. I will try to contact Smoke Team regarding upcoming releases. I won't provide any hard dates if they are not 100% sure, but I will do my best to get more interesting info for you - more screenshots or some other details, perhaps some Q&A.

3. I will stay open for community's suggestion. You can send them to me through PM or by posting in the thread.

Last update i recall was that the deposit part needed to get build in the Anon Exchange?
Right now we are 5 days further with an screenshot of the deposit part. So it looks to me that the deposit part is done?

So whats left? testing or still more bugs to fix? Should tell a bit more about the progress.
