Since the most common question is about where to get a stable version for the respective operating systems and distributions, I thought it might be a good idea to start collecting a number of repositories into a reference thread.
My nightly builds from SVN (not stable, but always up to date) are on the openSuse Build Service (
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=bitcoind&project=home:cdecker). Just add the respective line (the one that matches your OS) to your /etc/apt/sources.list file:
After an "apt-get update" you should be able to install bitcoind (the headless daemon).
Please list your builds and their specialities (patch level, revision, ...)
