Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Bullshit. Mr. Spread is not like those fuck devs with new coin each week only to make money.

I think he's very busy in real life (70%) or he's in hospital(25%)/dead(5%).

He will be back(70%), he won't be back(30%).

Anyone consider that somebody "bought" Mr. Spread's services for a large sum of BTC?

Never considered that, but entirely possible. I still wish he would have said something. "Hey guys I have been hired by someone. I cannot continue the project."
Or even "Hey i'm done"

Usually deals like this wouldn't be revealed to the public, because it would most certainly spark an outrage amongst miners and investors.

Very true. If that is the situation it is disappointing because Mr. Spread had fantastic potential with this coin.
Hmm I've considered this scenario however there are too many factors that would have to be at play to keep him from logging in and since it gets kinda complex I don't think it's likely.

Hey guys, is everyone able to see Mr. Spread's email address on Spreadcointalk?
Because I can, and theres something about it... It seems familiar.

It reminds me of Satoshi mixed with Gavin Anderson.

What in the hell are you trying to say???

Is someone pumping the price? What is going on? 10 cents here we come? Are we really that excited about Mr. Spread coming back?

Interesting that the hashrate is still pretty high for a "dead" coin. From my experience, hashrate dropped almost at the same time the price of the coin did and i doubt that hashes r generated from the small miners? I guess some big miners still think it's worth mining this coin even with Mr.Spread gone.

My theory is that Mr. Spread is one of the big miners.

If that were true I would hold onto SPR with every fiber of my being. That would also make me feel much better about him being gone so long. Even if it was for a scummy reason.

Volume has dried up, most major sellers who have lost hope have sold and basically it's just a couple naysaying-hopelessly optimistic schmucks buying. Il
Nothing to see here. If price gets back to 25k-30k again without Mr. Spread then I'd say someone is pumping up price to try to get interest back to the coin OR perhaps there is some fishy business going on.

That's what I thought you were implying. Wow, dude, wow. This is a big claim which looks to be full of bs.  You're going to have to give more details. So was it similar to something like satoshinandgavina@gmx.com?

Sorry Mr. Spread.

Don't think Mr. Spread would be too happy with his personal email out and about  Cheesy
Judging from the name, it sounds Danish/Norwegian/German.
