I really hope that people aren't falling for this shit? Also if this was some "Sophisticated" scam as people are saying then why CRASH this coin at 50k a coin when it has the potential to be as successful as DarkCoin which at it's all time high was trading at 2.5 million Sats?? Doesn't seem to make sense to me!  "Oh let's make this super sophisticated scam coin but rape the investors out of 10 BTC??" Hmmm seems a little ridiculous if you ask me when if this was a scamcoin like the FUDDERS are suggesting that it is then why not wait until this coin was worth at least 500k a coin then once the buy support is there then CRASH the shit out of this coin? Even IF it was real, no pools was never a huge selling point for me.  Darkcoin was originally billed as a CPU only coin.  When it was proven GPUs were being used, there was panic selling and I soaked up about 75,000 DRK for insanely cheap because in the end, I knew that wasn't what was important about Darkcoin.  The same holds true for Spreadcoin.  No pools, while neat (and lonecrouton loves), isn't the most important thing for me.  Successful implementation of an improved masternode system makes this a VERY valuable coin by a highly skilled dev.  No pools?  The market determined that valued this coin at about $150,000.  *yawn*

I'll stick with Darkcoin and its developer, Evan Duffield, rather than invest in this clone.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the fact that the price of DRK does not currently reflect that we are near open source AND will likely have instant transactions.  

The buy opportunities of the last few weeks will likely never be seen again.  I hope most of you were strong enough to hold or better yet, continue to accumulate.

As an investor in Darkcoin, I have invested in Evan first and foremost.  As I always say, "You invest in the developer, not the coin".

With that said, I must admit, I lightened my position quite a few times as enforcement issues and some other problems arose.  It's not a matter of not believing in Evan, I did believe he would fix the issues at some point, but I also understood that the probability the value of DRK would suffer in the meantime was rather high.

As Evan worked to fix these issues, other changes were made, such as the gradual increase of DRK payouts to masternodes which makes masternodes that much more valuable.  Those increases are coded as such:

There was a time when DRK had a marketcap of over $60,000,000.  This was prior to Darksend being open source and audited by a security expert, prior to the very recent successful masternode payment enforcement, prior to the new payout schedule for masternodes, and prior to what is likely to be a successful rollout of InstantX.  This was also prior to the hacking of very popular BTC mixers and other recent events that have caused people to begin to think about DRK as a payment method and the resulting publicity.

There was good cause for DRK to have a marketcap of $60,000,000 and there was good cause for it to drop back down.  The good cause for the drop is no longer an issue yet there are a host of new, positive fundamentals at play.  All of these new fundamentals are slowly being priced into the coin.  In my opinion, once they are properly priced into the coin, we will be at a new all time high.
