Very useful thread OP. Thank you.

I've only ever used 1broker as I did not realize there were all the other options. Going to look into some of these other ones now.

I'm not saying that all those are good options though. The intention is to be a complete list.

No whaleclub.co? I've tried most of those on the list and whaleclub pretty much blows them out of the water for the markets they offer. They have fixed spreads AND instant execution and they don't convert your btc to dollars.

thank's. I'll add it.
but one thing I have to say on the first look: 6.2 pips must be the world record for the biggest spread on EUR/USD lol

Hi all;

I posted a long one with reviews of 4 brokers and my session timed out and I don't feel like re-typing all that again...

Briefly, the thread is missing one of the top 3 (in my experience) brokers... ProfiForex (www.profiforex.com)

I can also vouch and say nothing but praise for SimpleFX and Trader's Way.

I'm a full-time day-trader/account manager and have numerous client account with all 3 of the above with 2+ years with each broker. If anyone has specific questions about them, I'll be happy to help.

[ProfiForex] ... those spreads are huge also. But will add to the list

You might have looked at the "big" symbol quotes. That's actually what's great about ProfiFX. They have 4 different sets of quotes for each currency that you can pick from to accommodate your trading style. Example (as of right now):

EURUSDecn - spread:  0.4 pips  (ecn account)
EURUSDv     - spread:  0.9 pips  (variable spread account) - the spreads are actually very low
EURUSD      - spread:  2.0 pips  (fixed) - good for news traders as spread doesn't increase at news time and off-peak hours
EURUSDbig  - spread: 10.0 pips (not sure what this is... never asked... don't care... it's too big)

I also found out a few new brokers. since the list is becoming to get big, and also a lot of noname brokers are coming in I will restructure this list and only brokers with a rating of x on http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/public/all_forex_reviews will be maintained in the main list. trusted by comunity like 1broker will also stay in the list.

Hello bitcointalk community and a hello to capoeira as well! Thank you for creating this thread!

I have been a lurker here for a few months, I have a question about SimpleFX.com

I am ready to sign up and to fund my bitcoin account there, but I am really confused and nervous about the forex spreads for the pairs they offer.
Am I reading their spreads chart wrong? They are VERY high!

For example, for the 2 common pairs I trade GBP/USD and EUR/USD, the spreads are reported as:

EUR/USD = 10
GBP/USD = 16

Is this common for this broker? Also am I reading this as 10pips and 16pips respectively? if I am wrong, please correct me!
What are all of your experiences with trading with these spreads with this broker?

Thank you in advance for any advice before I fund! :-)

no man. 1 pip is the 4th digit. when you have 5 digits the 10 means 1 pip

topic revision 1/3

old list:

Code:
I will try to keep a list of options for Forextrading with Bitcoins here (not Bitcoin trading CFDs, like 500plus)

It is still dificult to trade Forex using Bitcoins; i'll explain for the options

----always google informations before depositing on Forex brokers. one place i can recomend for research is: http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/

please correct any wrong information + feel free to give extra information, so I can add it

[size=15pt][u]deposit/withdraw and trade on BTC-based account[/u][/size]

[b]-FXChoice[/b]
https://my.myfxchoice.com/registration/?ib=48106
this is a very big and known broker, and it is regulated
having very good reviews over the internet.
bitcoin denominated accounts for Forex trading + Bitcoin trading

[b]-1broker[/b]
https://1broker.com/m/r.php?i=229
from a Bitcoiner. seams to be very correct, check the thread in this forum. i've allready used it last year and it's trustworthy
problem: it's a CFD (doesn't have to be a problem if you know what this means); doesn't have a professional platform

[b]-SimpleFX[/b]
https://simplefx.com/?sfx-r=fb0f0470-5ed7-40d7-a118-3150382b79ab
this is a new broker. It seams it was created allready with Bitcoin in mind, but is also a "normal-fiat-broker". bitcoin denominated accounts

[b]-796[/b]
https://796.com/invite/do/107370
this is a well known BTC futures broker. They are in the market for quite some time now. Recently they started to offer CFDs: forex, shares, indexes

[b]-First Global Credit[/b]
https://firstglobalcredit.com/register?refrence=rei
this is manly focussed on trading shares, but you can also buy BTC and Fiat with your colateral BTC (inside the system, accounts are BTC based only). There is a competition starting on the 23rd of November.

[b]-Uphold[/b]
https://uphold.com/signup?utm_campaign=refprog&utm_medium=capoeira
not realy a Forex broker, but you can hold all kind of fiat (and other like gold) with your BTC there (heding)

[size=15pt][u]deposit and withdraw: [/u][/size]

[b]-FxOpen[/b]
http://www.fxopen.com/DepositWithdrawal.aspx?Culture=en&agent=836159
Mt4
without a doubt, the biggest and best known option here. totaly trustworthy
being BTC-E's MT4 server provider and having cryptoaccounts they change BTC on their broker using BTC-E exchangerate. the problem is, they add a huge spread to it (rate only visible after signing up). and trading Forex on BTC based cryptoaccount is not possible.

[b]-TradersWay [/b]
http://tradersway.com/?ib=1041737
MT4, cTrader
this is not a very known broker, but best way to get to know a broker is always http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/public/review/www.tradersway.com ; imo: avaliation is quite good, they respond to the issues (normal that they occure). and they have a page regarding security on they site http://www.tradersway.com/about_us/safety_of_funds/?ib=1041737. as always: use google to research on your own.
here comes the exiting part: they charge no fees and add no artificial spread to Bitcoin deposits. they, and this is new to me, have a very good solution which is they sell our coins on the market (BTC-E) after we deposit. check out more in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=716530.msg9213721#msg9213721
I will test this broker soon, since (asuming they're claims are real) they apear to be the best option in terms of what this thread is analysing. I'll probably add my expirience here soon.

US costumers are allowed, not sure about the other brokers, I know that FxOpen doesn't allow them

[b]-sabrokers [/b]
http://sabrokers.com/deposits-and-withdrawals.aspx
MT4
unkown broker
doesn't show exchange rate > i've send email, asking for it

[b]-fnib[/b]
http://www.firstnationalib.com/
MT4??
unkown broker
doesn't show exchange rate > i've send email, asking for it, and the answer was THIS!!!!:
[quote]
It is easy. 1. Just open your account 2. send mail telling us
the amount you want to start trading fx with. 3 we will send you our
bitcoin address. 4. send your bitcoin. 5. start trading.

When you finish trading, we will send your bitcoin back to you.

www.fnib.co[/quote]

[b]-instaforex [/b]
https://secure.instaforex.com/en/deposits?x=JEBP
MT4
unkown broker
doesn't show exchange rate > i've send email, asking for it. here is the response:
[quote]Dear Sir/Madam,

Deposit via Bitcoin is no available now.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your letter.

Sincerely yours, Client Service
InstaForex Companies Group
[/quote]

so they are not accepting BTC atm? or never again?..I wont even ask more.

7/11/2014: asked them again, they do acept BTC again, but they wont tell me the exchange rate.
they always send me this link https://secure.instaforex.com/en/deposit/bitcoin-preview?x=JEBP "in order to know the process and rate for Bitcoin itself."
but you have to have a verified account to see it there. I tried to get a verified acount, but my documents were rejected (btw, they passed at FxOpen, Tradersway and others)

[b]-traders-trust[/b]
http://www.traders-trust.com/clients/funding/deposit-options
MT4
unkown broker
doesn't show exchange rate > i've send email, asking for it

[b]-pipstriker[/b]
https://pipstriker.com/?ref=Fabian298
MT4
unkown broker
doesn't show exchange rate > i've send email, asking for it. here is the (useless) response:
[quote]Well sir there are not any specific conditions to deposit or withdraw bitcoin.
Exchange rate will be 1 Bitcoin = $337
If you want to know anything else please do not hesitate to contact us.[/quote]

[b]-forex-metal [/b]
SCAM ALERT: http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/public/review/www.forex-metal.com

[size=15pt][u]deposit only:[/u][/size]

[b]-xcfd[/b]
https://xcfd.com/?r=15swyz
this uses bips.me, therefore only deposits...the only broker option showing exchange-rate to $ (on bips.me)
problem: this is a very young and unknown broker. read here for example: http://www.trade2win.com/boards/spread-betting-cfds/184740-xcfd.html
my personal test with the $30 bonus I've posted here: http://www.trade2win.com/boards/spread-betting-cfds/184740-xcfd-5.html#post2357096
noone seams to ever have testet withdraws
only has a semi-professional platform.

[b]-tradingforex [/b]
http://www.tradingforex.com/en/funding/deposit
MT4
unkown broker
doesn't show exchange rate > i've send email, asking for it. here is the answer:
[quote]Thank you for your email.

Please note that if you will deposit by using Bitcoin our financial provider will convert it to USD so we will receive USD and we will credit your MT4 account in USD. Please note that the Bitcoin is not a tradable instrument.
In the case you would like to withdraw your funds we will be able to refund you only in USD.
The exchange rate will be provided by our financial provider during the deposit process and you will be able to see how many USD is the equivalent of each Bitcoin you will deposit.
There is no artificial spread and also there is no fees for depositing using Bitcoin.
As soon as you will make a deposit you are kindly requested to send us a screenshot with the deposit details.

[b]-novafxtrading [/b]
https://novafxtrading.com/
MT4
unkown broker
doesn't show exchange rate > i've send email, asking for it. here is the answer:
[quote]I understood your question incorrect, I thought that you want to trade BTC.

Sure, you can make a deposit using Bitcoin and trade forex.

Please provide your password to the Trader’s Room and I’ll check it here regarding the demo account.

Otherwise you can download our terminal here https://novafxtrading.com/MT4_Metatrader_Platform and open a new demo account through File – Open an Account.
