It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

More fun stuff from Nitrogen. If any other books have something going on for tonight's NCAA final, post it.

https://nitrogensports.eu/blog/march-madness-championship/

It’s Wisconsin vs Duke in the finals, and we’re here with live lines on tonight’s game! That’s right, you can bet live tonight throughout the game at Nitrogen Sports.

Looking for a little extra betting power? Here’s how you can earn free bets tonight at Nitrogen:

And even more fun stuff from Nitrogen.

(I posted the following in Nitrogen's thread):

Jenny - "Again, we believe that in certain cases, occasionally taking a few minutes to review a withdrawal is in your best interest."

"occasionally...a few minutes..."

The impression Jenny gives is simply dishonest.

My last 4 withdrawals =

More than 30 minutes
More than 2.5 hours
2 minutes (looks like I got lucky)
Currently 20 minutes and counting since it was requested/withdrawn from my account.

It is not occasionally a few minutes.
It is occasionally withdrawn and sent in a few minutes.

But that is not the norm per my experience.

I was hoping that the posts that Jenny said she'd passed on had made a difference.
But apparently not.

Much too slow on the withdrawals.

Different theories have been floated on why the return to inferior technology.

If the problem is not having enough staff at night, add more staff.

Still waiting.

1.5 hours.

Jenny - "The majority of these are still processed in fewer than 8 minutes...

Again, we believe that in certain cases, occasionally taking a few minutes to review a withdrawal is in your best interest."

"...in certain cases..."

"...occasionally..."

"...taking a few minutes..."

None of this is in MY interest.

I believe Fairlay turned out to be a scam

You have written in our thread that a deposit did not work. This is unlikely but possible. However - since you have given us no other information (address, username, transaction) we can not really comment on this yet other than no other user has any problems or that if bugs have occurred we have always solved them in reasonable time and with the satisfaction of all involved user.

Indeed - you made a transaction that was not recognized by our system. We would have prefered it if you would have just sent us a message/mail/tweet instead of directly accusing us as scammers.

However - as early Bitcoiners ourself we agree that it sucks if you send Bitcoins somewhere and you have the feeling they are lost so we understand your anger. We tried to do a small compensation and I just send you 0.05 BTC to your account.

I've been using Fairlay and think they should be upgraded from "C-" to "C". If the grades weren't step by step, they should be higher but don't want to set any precedents. Any disagreements with the updrade? It will take a few voices to squash the upgrade.

What is your criteria for ranks and why have you ranked BetBTC with a D  Huh

Since the first day, all our users are pretty happy with the service provided and there are absolutelly zero complaints to date.

If you have any questions or sugestions about it I would surelly take some time to discuss with you, I just can't understand how you attribute a D rank without arguments. (do you even have account with us? )

BetBTC - It takes 3 months to have a "C-" rating or above. I'll definitely start playing with you now that you've been in business over 3 months. Is there anyone currently using BetBTC?

A - 2 years
B - 1 year
C - 3 months

BetOwi.com displays the sort of website sloppiness which drives me nuts.

I'd like to send them an email.
The onsite "Contact Us" link gives a popup window to email them.
But it's necessary to already have an account in order to contact them, or it won't send.

BetOwi - Has it occurred to you guys that someone may wish to email you WHO DOESN'T ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT?

Is it too much to ask that you post a contact email address on your site?Huh??
If you would have taken care of this basic and obvious situation, I wouldn't have to waste further time posting this.

Stuff like this is mind boggling.

Two weeks later, still no response from BetOwi.com.

Does anyone have an email address for them?

Does anyone play there?

I can't find a dedicated thread of their's on this forum.

BetBTC - Your interface looks great. The negative is that you need more liquidity. Other exchanges offer more markets. Another thing is that there isn't much feedback at bitcointalk concerning BetBTC.

Hi Harib,

These posts you have quoted are all old thread posts. We addressed each and everyone and corrected the issues with our clients! We are sorry that you think our book is a "D" book, our other users would disagree with you and so will Peeps Place!

Is there anything else I can do for you, as I have asked many times in your support mails and in all your thread posts?  Smiley Smiley
