Hi all,

A number of posters had been asking for this in our support thread, so we thought it might be useful to readers in this thread too.

As requested, here's a cold storage wallet as proof of funds.

Wallet address: 125YjcdZp3ip5xwF4aCVRkdj27iwcbfpZX

Signed message:

You can verify this signature in most bitcoin clients, such as Bitcoin-Qt, Armory, or via the web at Brainwallet.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Cheers,

is BITBET.us a scam?

Seems like bitbet is doing some shady things these days like resolving bets when they are not actually resolved. They closed a bet on the price that the winner of the silk road bitcoin auction (Tim Draper) paid to win the auction, without actually having any information.....

http://bitbet.us/bet/951/silk-road-coin-auction-extravaganza/
http://log.bitcoin-assets.com/?date=12-09-2014#827352

Another good site turns into a scam site... bad for bitcoin

BetMoose
Quote
Bb has a lot of things wrong with it, misresolved bets is just one of them. A serious issue is that they don't SSL so the deposit addresses you get can easily be hijacked. The site is probably not a scam but with the way they operate it might as well be categorized as such.

We're trying to create the next generation of betting with BetMoose (https://www.betmoose.com) - the bet resolution model is distributed so we can't possibly have a misresolved bet. Plus, we return 100% of any unfair or cancelled bets and do not require a paid wager to submit.

Hopefully current and future bettors demand this type of security and functionality.

Need some help here guys. If you are using OleBitcoin, have you ever been limited? If so, was it just with SBOBet or also with Pinnacle?

Casinobitcoin - Why are you taking the games off the board 1 hour prior to the start time in basketball and American football? You did the same last week.

"...was it just with SBOBitcoin..."

You mean SBOBet.

Player goes through SBObitcoin. His play is limited at SBOBet. Then SBOBitcoin wanted him to admit that he was a professional player. SBOBitcoin said that they would increase his limits if he admitted to being a pro. The professional player question really scares me since cash books have confiscated money of professional players..

A book should determine if they deem a player's action to be sharp and the book's own risk management should make a decision on whether or not to limit a player. I'd suggest that a player never admit to being a pro.  Nothing good can come to a player that admits to being a professional.

OleBitcoin is lowered from "C" to "D+". OleBitcoin was previously known as SBOBitcoin. Since the change to OleBitcoin, the rules have changed. Maximum bets are 2 BTC. If you are considered a pro, the limits are raised to 10x that amount. In order to get your limits raised, you must admit to being a professional gambler.  If you have experiences with OleBitcoin, please post them.

Just to clarify, SBOBet and Pinnaclesports are great books taking the highest limits. They take on anyone. The agent OleBitcoin scares me some even though there haven't been any payout problems.

OleBitcoin may be placing players on different sheets. They are putting professional players on a volume sheet and recreational players on a net loss sheet.

There are just too many unknowns at this time. Because of the changes in name and rules, it's best to look at OleBitcoin as a new agent separate from SBOBitcoin.

OleBitcoin, AsianConnect, PremiumTrading or any book feel free to chime in on positive reasons for a player to confess being a professional.

Your ratings are truly a scam. You even say "Maximum grade for A is 2 years of business". Anonibet awful odds and everything. No instant withdraws yet they are rated an A. Nitro is by far a better book and has been in business 2+ years so yes they deserve A but of course YOU ARE GETTING PAID BY ANONIBET so thus you only rate ANONIBET as an A WHICH THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT. They have scammed many users in the past and continue to do so with every promo offered.

Anonibet hasn't scammed anyone. DirectBet ghosts have made accusations. DirectBet posts under numerous names. In the user poll Anonibet was the 2nd highest rated book and DirectBet was number 9 until DirectBet ghosts started posting influencing Ryan's ratings.

What DirectBet states should be taken with a grain of salt. Nitrogen also has a banner and is eligible for an "A" in December. Other books have banners. They would all be "A" if what you say is true.

"Maximum bets are 2 BTC."

Not a good sign.

"In order to get your limits raised, you must admit to being a professional gambler."

They should be able to profile themselves. And some gamblers may want higher limits even though they are not pros, so they say "I'm a pro" to get limits raised. 2 btc limit (about $680 USD currently) is not a lot.

All of this is scaring me from depositing further.

Some of the agents for Pinnacle and the Asian books - or at least one of them - ask one to declare one's average bet size as part of the info for setting up an account.
