Such a long time, back in days, I think banning pools from advertising in threads is too harsh. There should be rules about how they are presented and how often they are posted maybe....

The ban was due to the fact that there are too many ads now. it already exceeds the required information, and advertising is not always worth the attention.
Yes, I agree that spam is not allowed, as it is sometimes very confusing with the appearance of ads that are not qualified and unfit for display and this needs to be limited because it already exceeds what information we know.
Quality advertising is always worth attention, but it should be short and not intrusive. And then it will make sense.

May I know if posting addition artwork after my coin has been listed on the ranking site is not against any rule or policy? The artwork is showing that "the coin is now available on xxx ranking sites!", some kind of that. I hope this is okay.

I tried several times to ask for information about it, in exchange I received only ban from Mr. Mprep.

I was one of those who published ads like the one you mentioned and I was (rightly?) banned.

Like me, others, but why does this continue to spam without any disturbance?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1502204;sa=showPosts

Now Mr. Mprep will read this my post, banning me but the spam guy will continue to post.

Two weights and two measures

advertising confuses and creates only confusion, but certainly it is difficult to alienate

I disagree with your opinion. I believe that advertising is a very effective way to interest the public and succeed.
I agree that advertising is a very effective thing. For example, advertising projects with the help of the company's bounty? This is very beneficial for companies

I have some idea to prevent spam:
Implement SMAS to all campaign managers and must be managed by the moderators if an user listed to SMAS moderators can disable the signature of that user preventing the user from joining signature campaigns only problem is can moderators disable signature remotely? I think this more humane than giving negative feedback

Although giving users a negative feedback helps a lot against spamming and shitposting, the problem is, the feedback is harsh and also, the user given a negative trust by the DT user posts in reputation section pleading to remove their negative feedback or attacking the DT who gave him/her a negative feedback making more spam in reputation and Meta sections...

I know advertising is a form for trader to find investors and sometimes it can be spam because the approach of advertising is not true. So I have an idea that we should choose the good project to appear in our forum. We can make privacy to choose it.

Of course, it's profitable, because they do not pay anything for such advertising. Only their tokens, and they are nothing cost for developers.

There are a lot of advertisements now. Especially a lot of useless projects. It is interesting to see how effective these measures are.

Now scammers are trying to create projects so they do not look like a scam. In any case, there are people who participate in such projects by inexperience.

Will the contents of AirDrop become advertisement publicity?
Recently a lot of AirDrop's threads are being erased.

Will BITCOINTalk be used as AirDrop's material for AirDrop's advertisement as well?

I think that it should be more clearly to post pool advertisements in the thread. And they can post in a dedicated thread for their pool.

I agree with that. We are fed up with the scam, pools and gambles.... I think AIRDROP advertisement is not bad. This forum needs to be used efficiently and effectively, we would not entertain any useless posts.

Stopping spam should be incentivized by a new forum based token economy; tokenized rewards given to those users who report spam and moderate best.  Let's launch it!

So it is spam for our exchange to let a thread know we listed them?? Since I had 2 posts deleted I can only assume the answer is yes. How is it spam letting communities know ONE time they are listed on an exchange? Please let me know.

I think so too, we should turn off the ads of the site unnecessary to avoid information interference, In addition, you should also limit the opening of links that are subject to spam.
