I can't  tell if stellar has a future or not, but i can say the implementation on Crypto-trade worked flawlessly for me, I
was able to deposit my stellars to the exchange from my wallet and they arrived within a minute after clearance on Stellar.org.  
So if you looking for an exchange with Stellar support, consider using CT

Regardless of the price this should allow users a very simple way in/out with USD via Stellar network for trading or buying bitcoins/altcoins in the future.

When was your account registered ? Only few people in group 1 and 2 have been given invite codes, if you're in group other than those then you have to wait longer
