Increasing the amount of Stellar they are giving away will bring the price down at all time low. This is one of the reason they are very careful on  limiting the amount for every new sign up.

Some people just dont want to find a (friends/family) facebook account just to claim the invite code. Better to sell it and 2000 is fair enough.

I didn't feel comfortable asking friends/family to allow some unknown force to have access to their profile information just so I could get 2,5000 Stellars. Let me know if you want it. Someone wanted me to verify by skype, but I don;t have a skype account. I am an old man haha.

Yup, hard to say how severe it was---there are no numbers on the impact yet, and the core team is not especially communicative (mostly detached from the community).

Honestly, I am more concerned about the organization running Stellar and their design decisions that effectively exploit users. Stellar org seems more or less to be a non-profit tax shelter for their centralized money minting operation. Details keep emerging, crazy stuff. Jed seems insane at this point.

Distribution was extremely botched. As distribution is the only thing Stellar had over Ripple and they have screwed it up this one is doomed.

Wait for yet another Ripple fork with better distribution.

How the sender will know that u'll send the stellar after getting it ? Is there any way to verify for a third party about the stellar value of a certain account ?
