Title says it all. I'm a new member so I'll go first as long as I'm dealing with someone reputable.
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I see, thanks. I'll be buying them off www.amazon.com so they'll be valid for the same domain (as opposed to .co.uk etc)
