I signed up twice last night with 2 different email addresses and I have waited 12 hours now and I have not received my confirmation e mail. Can you activate my account on the official pool?

I will talk to Matthew and get him to remove your user and then you can attempt signup again. All other users have found the "missing" email in SPAM.

Why are there two people mining in http://pool.sterlingcoin.org.uk/  before launch ?

We have been test mining on the pool since we made the fixes to ensure everything is working 100%.

Before launch we clear the blockchain and reset back to Block 0.

This will be checkable on the transaction explorer as the times of block creation will be visible.

CCMiner or SGMiner I would recommend. Also depends on whether you have NVidia or ATi.

Fairly certain that the 'lasybear' sph-sgminer with x13mod is the fastest pre-compiled X13 ATI GPU miner for windows.

EDIT: Personally I wouldn't set gpu-vddc above 1.125 for most set-ups.

scan-time is usually optimal somewhere between 15 to 20 in my experience, although individual coins, pools, set-ups will vary and you always need to test this to find the best overall settings.

Wallets as it states in the OP will be released at 6pm GMT on the 21st of September.

They are currently passworded as they are not released and held within a private repository on Bitbucket.

At 6PM GMT the password will be lifted and they will simply download.
