I'm looking for a secure VPS which is cheap. I'm looking for a VPS to host my own emails too so I would want to have a very secure vps.

Have you run a Bitcoin node of any of the VPS's because their prices are excellent.

DigitalOcean has some good servers.  They are inexpensive and seem reliable too.

IPv6 Address         10
Disk Space         45 GB
Bandwidth         1 TB
Memory                 2 GB

Thanks for confirming Newar. I got the same configuration and installed a Bitcoin node. It has almost finished to download the blockchain: http://blaxxky.com/bitcoin_node_info.php

Note that the cheapest PieLayer configuration doesn't have enough disk space for the blockchain, you need the 45GB configuration ($7 per month)

Welcome aboard Smiley

I thought that was clear from my snapshot. The current blockchain size can be seen here: https://blockchain.info/charts/blocks-size

Since we are on the topic of cheap VPSs... I'm getting quite some downtime with VertVPS. Not all their fault apparently, but that doesn't help the uptime.
