For now i dont think i will ever buy or even use a bitcoin wallet at all. That is only because there are allot of people who are just after your coins. And that is so sad the coin is totally not secured at all so dont think i will use wallets.
yes agreed with you,its not important for me or you to buy hardware wallet for now,if we feel comfort and secure to use online or free wallet, its should be enough, and i will not make higher cost for my bitcoin devices.

You just found this? I've owned my Ledger Electrum edition for more than a year now, and it's been awesome.
If you want, buy the nano. The HW1 is the exact same, but the physical thing itself feels incomplete, if I may.

lol yeah, I just found that. I don't really use any wallet until I have the need to spend. If I do, I just use Blockchain.info

I've bought a trezor wallet when they had a promotion last time, and i have to say it is a must have.
Having your bitcoins secured gives you a very big relievement. With the price going up a few bitcoins will be interesting for hackers to hack.

But in hardware wallet there is also a risk, like the possibility of losing it and you are going to misplace it.
So you just need to be careful even you are going to use hardware wallet, still it is not secured and safe, it will just depend on how you are going to use it.

Hardware wallets are okay but because I already have a good secured paper wallet, I do not think its needed for me.

Having the same thing, I love my paper wallet so why would I step over or take another wallet, I just do not think its worth it.
I also think hardware wallets are still not proven to be very good.

Yeah,  I think hard wallets are good. But why you need to use that if you already have online bitcoin wallets, then why you need to use other wallets?
But it is still depending on how you really want to secure your bitcoins.

Would recommend a Trezor 10 times out of time

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the world, and lose his own soul?

perhaps bluetooth?

Most important is plug and play on any computer without user action like installing drivers, if it can be done with bluetooth, why not, but USB has every computer and bluetooth only some computers.

The most important function is security though

Bluetooth would decrease the security, because anyone with bluetooth could try to crack the wallet, while with USB one would need physically contact.

Also I think it would increase the energy comsumption and the price.
iwould never buy a hardware wallet because there are to many people who are not happy with it and they are also scammed some of them so i dont think it is verry useful to take a bitcoin wallet.....

Well if you can avail to buy a trezor then go for it, but if not, then better to stay with an online wallet.
It is also secured as an hardware wallet is. You just need to maximize the use of it.

I just finally bought a Trezor wallet.  I've had a Ledger Nano for a while now and really like it, but I wanted the convenience/security of having a screen on my wallet, and the real reason why I finally got one was because of the new Password management feature.  It is great to have a hardware password manager that is also a secure bitcoin wallet.

It seems to me like you could do the same with a portable SPV wallet on a USB stick...

Hi all,

I am doing some research for a Bitcoin company that is interested with developing a hardware wallet to see if it has a viable market. Trezor has some traction, but perhaps only in the existing Bitcoin community. With things like Multi-sig popping up everywhere, do you think this negates some of the pressing need for Hardware wallets? Interested to hear your thoughts.

while i can use the wallet in the pc and online, I guess not intend to buy hardware wallet because it certainly would just be a waste of our money. Thank you

Yeah that's what I'm considering too, why do I need to buy for an hardware wallet if I am benefiting from using an online wallet.
And I may just use the money for buying an hardware wallet in other important things.

A lot of people are saying this and I must say that its true, why buying a hardware wallet what can be pretty expensive if you got a paper wallet and a online wallet right ?

Hard wallet, online wallet and paper wallet. As for me, I'm going to choose two, paper wallet and online wallet. I think hardware wallet and online
wallet are almost the same , the thing is you need to spend money for buying it.
Unlike online wallet, it is free.
