1 Million being invested, plus only 300,000 coins = OMG I wish I had enough BTC to buy more of those selling for 8000 sats right now on Bittrex/Polo!! Holy Jesus these are going to be worth a mega shit ton. I have thousands, can you imagine what these will be worth in a few months. 300,000 coins and a auction platform and Arcade etc.
I'm not pumping to sell btw. I'm done buying is all, I've spent as much as I can and I'm pumped about this. I've always said that all one of these coins need is a decent plan and a REAL budget.
I very interested to see how this plays out.
This 1M is pure speculation up to now, it could be made up just to create some buys. I hardly see why som1 would invest 1M in a coin simply because of it's name. Waiting for the full details. They are not buying the coin for 1 million I think the investors are more interested in buying the platform and shop behind it. If they are a large enough corp, and can make SHOP the ebay equivalent of the alt scene, then with the right team behind them that could be extremely lucrative for them. I think that is why they are so interested in it. They are investing in the potential of the idea behind the shop itself. As for the coin, (SHOPX) they have stated that they would be purchasing approx 50K-100K SHOPX for their existing customers as a kind of loyalty/introduction to the coin. The above is just a guess based on what I have read so far, so until we hear the full details about the meeting and the corp behind it from BCTS, then my guess is pure speculation and should be treated as such. Either way, I am holding my 5K coins and will buy some xtra along the way from people dumping out. The dev has shown a huge commitment since day one with this coin, and has given away loads of them using the .rain function in the IRC channel (there were a lot given away this way a while ago) as well as to people interested in the coin just before the official launch. Transparency wise, he has been great, and dev wise, (coding and keeping people up to date) you can't fault him (or her) to be honest. |

I stand by bcts decision as someone close to bcts.com and shopcoin/SHOPX from launch. He has always made himself available to the community, and strives to make this project better in any way he can.  I personally know the time he/we have put towards this project and understand the excitement, love, and heartaches along the way with it. IE the true value of .00015 satoshi and 7-10btc volume we onece had, to the lows. With that said... Many of you know the struggle we have had getting the recognition we believe shopcoin/SHOPX deserves. Although a difficult decision by bcts, this new investor will bring us to a new level! Shopcoin/SHOPX will have the much needed funds to grow and employ the extra hands. For our community this is great and I am excited to see where they take us I respect bcts decision and thank him for the time, effort, friendship, and opportunity to be apart of this team! I am not sure my future yet with the change of hands but hope to still play a part somewhere thank you all for the support, encouragement, faith, and dedication to shopcoin/SHOPX, bcts, bcts.com threw the good and bad the last few months! Those who sold will go insane when this takes off properly. Yeasterdays around 10k was just stretching.

Congrats on the buyout BCTS! You put a ton of work into this building of this coin! And your support has been top-notch!
As standing King of the Arcade, can I have I the Forum??? Or was that sold as an asset also...
I need my games! Perhaps I can trade for it... I also have about 50 SHOPCoins that I've earned on the forum that must be gone?
As an investor/holder of SHOPX, unsure what to do without BCTS. Is there a timeframe for the new dev/investors?

We had a good meeting and they all like the idea of digital currency. They are a little concerned over the volume we have but they did make me an offer to buy me out and they will take over the coin and its development. I was not expecting to sell my coin in this meeting was hoping to just partner up with them.
I accepted their offer and they have guaranteed to invest over 1 million USD into this project. I will be starting the transaction now from my ownership to theirs but it will not be official until our next meeting that will take place towards the end of next week.
As soon as it is official I will be able to share the name of this Corporation who is now the owner of SHOPX.
Wow  They gonna invest 1 mil into SHOPX ?? That's some serious money man. If they get the right team for development and pr I don't see how SHOPX can fail Congrats BCTS, I hope you'll stick around even after the deal is completed. BTW I can't access the forum atm, I'm guessing you're handing everything over to them? |

Cant belive that shopx is still so low in value.. Not too much action at bittrex or polo, even though it will jump after POW ends.
Guess people like pump and dump coins too much to notice the good ones =D

They purchased the domain and content of the websites.. but I believe they will be building a standalone arcade that will allow you to play for free or use many digital currencies to play and to be awarded with. I can sell you my vbulletin license and I can ask about the existing forum and arcade provided you set it up on another domain. Not sure about the DB since I doubt they will allow anyone else access to user data. |
