I am a crypto enthusiast and just watched Brony Tale last night.  I am inspired by the Brony community and I believe you deserve your own coin AND that you will do great things with it.  I have thought about these proposed specifications and am open to suggestions.

Trolls are welcome. You are already forgiven and forgotten.

PROPOSED SPECIFICATIONS

This is a work in progress. Please be a part of the discussion below.

Tentative launch date set for October 10, 2014. Plenty of time to design, build and test a quality coin while coordinating with the Brony community.

-ticker: BRNY
-100 Billion POW 22,000,000 POW 20,000,000 POW(one month)
-SHA256
-POS 20% (at least 20% cooler)
http://th07.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/i/2012/206/7/5/rainbow_dash_stealth_wallpaper_by_intbrony-d58ihpu.png
-TOR or other anon (would love to have MLP themed crypto first anon feature, wouldn't you?
-All wallets including Windows 32bit/64, Linux 32/64, Apple and Android.
-KGW
-20% pre mine. 4% allocated every 4 years for the next 20 years to... (We will figure out the logistics here but ideally we could lock the coins in the blockchain until the year of distribution. Ideally have show's creators or brony community leaders judge proposals or build community projects with this pre-mine.

No premine for me or the devs. I am building BTC bounties below to be claimed by the Bronycoin community.

To support the development of Bronycoin, please send BTC to the following addresses which are also posted on http://www.theohyeah.com/bounties/24.

BRONYCOIN BOUNTIES

WALLETS: 17ZCJqKM7CXwBMYNKd9i5D39kAb8qbuR3A
This bounty will be split 4 ways between Windows 32bit/64, Linux 32/64, Apple and Android.

BLOCK EXPLORER/RICH LIST: 18A3WJcjUfQamY2XGD1BDajUD5djYnkk4B

WEBSITE: 1NhLPGVfpz4hf7FWwH5oasJTQ5ayKfE4mf

PROMO VIDEO: 14SQRATscjJBDZDK3YpPRaDm84RNNAxri7

LOGO DESIGN AND ANIMATED GIFS: 1F3aKEViki5b4Y7LhG3ph3S4GsrrLbe9Df

This is an open sourced project designed for friends with similar goals. Anyone with BTC can steer the direction of Bronycoin. If you are interested in accepting any of these bounties please post in this thread how much BTC you would like to have and the community can make this happen. Donated BTC will be allocated once services are complete.

If services are provided free of charge . . . donated BTC will be returned to sender.

If you would like to contribute with a different coin or would like to request a different coin for your service, please post in thread and lets see what magic will happen.

I will check this thread every 24 hours and update as necessary. Thank you for building Bronycoin.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Although I like your idea of the pre-mine being spread over X amount of years. you gotta be kidding with a 20% piece of pie!

Also, 100B coins?? why so much?

Yes if you're goign to do SHA, do KGW, otherwise if your coin is successful at first, the asic will eat it up and once the flavor of the week dies off the network hash won't survive the difficulty.

>>4% allocated every 4 years for the next 20 years.

Why don't you keep a part off of each block that is mining. Otherwise this will look just like another pump and dump coin where the Dev dumps the whole premine as soon as the coin his an exchange. Would also be a good idea to drop it down to 50 million coins or less.

Excellent suggestions.  I would listen to this guy if you want your coin to have a chance of being successful.

Great idea. I will update post to reflect.

Under 50 million sounds low for this coin.

Let's sleep on it.

Thank you.

I wanted to increase the value of each individual coin by having the individual coins add value to a group bounty.

Lot's of critiques on high volume. Does it matter from a tech standpoint?

Yeah, I'm a newb either way. I wanted to reserve moon_tigger as future pony name. Still have to watch the series before I can call myself a brony.

That premine needs to be looked at in a serious manner.  This is a serious niche market which could be tapped into, don't kill it before it starts.

The concept of a Bronycoin is smart.  The details needs some serious shifting around, esp the pre-mine.

Looking for consensus. Perhaps there are other services that the community prefer? Going to go with KGW for now.

This could be a blind spot for me but I like the idea of a portion of a coin's market cap bountying for a community good or goal. I can see how 100 billion is high. You guys have me leaning toward 20 million. Maybe 22,222,222 as a sign of friendship. Gotta be 20% interest and premine. I think that works if spaced out over time. What do you think of time released premine?
