Hey,
I posted in the ann for the coin but if you ran the original windows wallet that was posted, your system was most likely comprised. A backdoor was installed that renamed and collected wallet.dat files, and some people have been cleaned out already.

This is only if you downloaded the windows wallet and not if you complied from source.

Read through my post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=721306.msg8194785#msg8194785
and the rest of thread for more info

Also, this was the link to the original wallet was https://mega.co.nz/#!JAoyiajC!0ND16g-6qVDRGVuxnNBZmd-NInXzpbdaW9Pe9dDlDUo,as you can see now removed, and I downloaded it from the announcement, so it couldn't have been a malicious wallet from an external source.

I didnt lose that much, but still good amount to be upset about, can only hope not that many people got cleaned out Sad

Same here, I have been ignoring the new coins now for several months. I suspect we will be seeing more and more of this...

Here is a link to an  infected windows wallet that was originally in the ann for zipcoin, if someone wants to test it in vm/sandbox environment.
